Nicaraguan Drinks

Milk at breakfast time came in these tall glasses!

Mooo!!

We had more full strength Coke on this trip than we have had in our lives!  :)

I'd never seen soda in a glass bottle before!

She picked a green bottle!

Soda drinker!

Ice cream drink!!  Their cookies and cream shake tasted almost like the ones we get at home!

She didn't drink her ice cream....

If you don't drink your drink right at the vendor's cart, you can take it to-go in a plastic bag.  No cups!
Instead of water bottles, they sold little water packets on the street.  They were about 3 cents.

She learned really quickly not to squeeze the water pack!

Water break!!
A Coke to go!!

Suckas!!

Nicaragua was a hot place... so Danni and I did some heavy drinking while we were there!!  We loved the variety of cool drinks and the way they were served!!  Diet Coke was not easy to find there -- but Coke Zero was!!  A lot of the street vendors only sold full-sugared sodas - to Danni's and my delight!  :)  We thought it was cool that the soda came in glass bottles... and that if you took it to-go, they'd dump the glass bottle into a plastic bag, tie a straw inside and send you on your way!  (My bags sprung a leak a few times because I didn't quite have the hang of holding them gently!)   We enjoyed staying hydrated during our trip!  :)
