Q and U Got Married!!

She let Mama curl her hair for the big day!  

Auntie Lynn gave her a REAL veil for Christmas... she decided that the wedding was the perfect occasion to rock it!

The aisle had all kinds of q's and u's on it...  Her classmates were the wedding guests.

Her lucky man... Mikey! (otherwise known as letter U!)

Danni was very excited to receive an invitation to her first wedding...  Apparently letters 'q' and 'u' had decided to tie the know, because they are ALWAYS together.  Danni's class was asked to come to school in wedding attire to help celebrate the big day.  Danni was super excited - a wedding meant that she had an excuse to go dress shopping.  She chose a very pretty dress, and got her nails painted for the ceremony.  On the day of the wedding, Danni accessorized with a veil that Auntie Lynn gave her for Christmas, and she let Mama do her hair in springy sponge roller curls because it was a super fancy occasion!!  At school, her teachers were so impressed with ensemble that they picked her to be letter q (THE BRIDE!)  She was excited to walk down the aisle and to say her vows to Mikey, who was chosen to be letter u.  At the end, they didn't kiss (because, Danni said, this would make the marriage 'real') ... they sealed the deal with a high-five and then celebrated at the reception.  A Little Debbie wedding cake, and Capri Suns were served -- the guests toasted the happy couple with qu words, and then everyone danced.  Fast dances only.  Because slow dances are boring.  Congratulations q and u!!
