Danni's First American Girl Experience!

Danni picked out a 'Truly Me' doll... she has the same hair and eye color as her new mommy.

Excited to meet her new baby!

We had lunch in the cafe to celebrate the adoption (and Danni's birthday too!)

The cake was adorable... and delicious!

Dolly hugs!

I'm glad that I didn't join Mommy, auntie Suz, and Danni for lunch. It looks too girlie in there!

She wants to add to her doll family already!  Save your money, Danni!

She shopped it up in the store!

Papa met us there... and rescued Daddy and me from the girl stuff part!
Danni's brithday celebration continued with a trip to the American Girl Doll Store and Cafe!  Grandma Marilyn sent her a birthday check -- she spent it on her very first American Girl Doll (whom she later named Ashtyn Julie or Julie Ashtyn depending on the day...  Papa and Auntie Suz also gave her some birthday money which she used to buy some clothes for her new doll.  After she shopped, the girls had a special lunch at the American Girl Cafe.  It was all pink in there... and full of little girls... and dolls.  I'm glad that the boys weren't allowed to join them.  Papa, Daddy, and I went to lunch ourselves at DuPar's!  I think that all of the girls had a great time... not just Danni!  What a wonderful way to continue the birthday celebration!!
