Easter With the Seniors

All of their little hands helped to create it!!  What fun!

What a perfect way to start the Easter season.... by giving back!!  Danni and her Daisy troop did an Easter service project at one of our local Assisted Living facilities.  The residents were super excited to have the girls visit -- they ooohed and aahed over all of the beautiful little Daisies!  Danni's new friend Rose (who picked her to be her team mate) especially loved Danni's long pretty hair.  She asked if she could braid it, and Danni happily obliged!  And then the competition was on!  The girls competed in a bunny hop race, an egg balancing race, and a hula hoop competition.  Team Danni Rose came in first for the bunny hop, and third in the egg balancing!  While the little girls were doing their races, the seniors also had competitive activities to complete - they did a ring toss and a bean bag toss.  At the end of the day, Team Danni Rose came in 6th place!  Before enjoying a cookie and lemonade snack with their new friends, the girls presented the bird bath that they had made.  The seniors were excited to add it to their courtyard!  What a fun day of service with the seniors!!
