Gracie's parents both have August birthdays, so we all celebrated with a barbecue at her house.  She has a sweet swing set that we had a blast playing on.  Great food, perfect weather, and great friends....  what more could a guy ask for?!

The Norco Fair moved to a venue closer to our house this year... so it was even easier for us to enjoy!  I especially loved it this year because a bunch of farmers brought their tractors...  old and rusty ... shiny and new.... and parked them on the fairgrounds.  They allowed kids like me to climb all over them.  (And they let some of the grown ups drive them!)  I loved being in the seat of a real John Deere.... and a bright yellow backhoe!!  We spent a lot of time in the bouncer zone... and ate tons of yummy food!!  Fairs are COOL!

Five years after moving into this house, Mommy and Daddy were finally feeling a little cramped.  Time for a garage sale ... or as I call it... a treasure sale!!  We had TONS of treasures!  And, to make it even more fun, our friends brought over THEIR treasures to sell too!!!  I had a great time playing amidst the junk with my friends!!!!  Mommy and Daddy were happy to clear out their garage .... and to have a few monies to show for their efforts!  (Oh yeah... the next weekend, I asked if we could go to some treasure sales 'to get our stuff back...')  I'm sure we will re-accumulate it all slowly!!

Mommy went back to work on August 2nd...  but Mama Vee is still on vacation!!!  Danni and I have enjoyed several playdates with Mama Vee.  She always knows how to spoil us!!  :) Our most exciting adventure was to the La Habra Children's Museum - Octomom and 6 of her kids were there...  Would you believe that this was the one time Daddy forgot to bring his camera?!

Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary.  According to the gift guide, the traditional 6th anniversary gift is SUGAR... Yay!  So they celebrated with a yummy cake with our Tuesday night dinner crew.  YUM!  It also happened to be Garrett's 10th birthday and Gracie's parents' anniversary as well...  Celebrating was deeee-licious!!
