Since we studied the California Missions in 4th grade, one of our Field Trips was to Mission San Juan Capistrano. The weather was perfect for a day of walking through history. Mommy came with us to chaperone ... we had a group of all boys ... and it was the most fun too!! All of us had a great time snapping pictures and learning about how life was back in the days of the missions. After our tour, we had a yummy picnic lunch and then took the long bus ride back to school. I had fun hanging with Mommy and my friends away from the books and pencils!!
