Mommy and Daddy have always said that I was a good writer...  now I have proof that they haven't been telling stories!  I entered an essay contest for Red Ribbon Week and won second place!!  Sweeeet!!!  Not only did I get honored at a special reception for the winners (they served pizza, nuggets and CAKE!  My kind of meal!!), but I also received a $40 check as a prize!!  I was so excited!!  (I put my winnings toward the purchase of a new iPod, since I left mine behind on the plane.)  I was so proud, and despite my jet lag, I really enjoyed being honored!!
