Something's Fishy in Mammoth!

Getting ready to feed the fishies!

The fishies liked their lunch!

They saw us on the shore and kept swimming around, hoping for a meal!

It was SO pretty there!!

The ranger didn't mind us holding the fish.  (The fish did, though!)

When the fish grow up, they are transferred outside.  There are wires overhead to keep the birds out.

We took a mini vacation to Mammoth! While we were there, we visited the fish hatchery.  I have never seen so many fish in one place in my life!  We met a nice ranger who took us to see the baby fish (they call them 'fries!') and let us help feed the big fish.  It was a really cool visit!!
