Gingerbread House Construction!

She's only just begun!!

This is my 'before' shot...

Barefoot in December!!!  It was a gorgeous day at Papa's!

I added some doorknobs to my house!

And a TV antenna....

Danni sampled some of the architecture!

'I wish I could live in a gingerbread house! Until it rained.'

She was proud of her creation!

While we were at Papa's house, we busted out our creative skills and built some holiday gingerbread houses.  We used graham crackers, frosting, and all sorts of yummy candy.  (And, I think more candy went into our mouths than onto our houses!!)  We left our houses on Papa's table to dry... and they were too delicate to travel home with us, so they stayed there overnight.  Guess what, possums like gingerbread houses as much as kids do!  The next morning, Danni's house had some bites taken out of it!!!  She thought this was hilarious.  The possum didn't want to eat my gingerbread house, though!  I bet it's because it was a boy possum!!  Us guys stick together!!!
