Happy Birthday to me!!
I celebrated my double digit birthday with an awesome game truck birthday party at the park!  The game truck was so cool -- it could hold 24 people, and we could play video games on 6 different screens!  My friends and I played A LOT of Minecraft!  We also ate lots of delicious pizza, junk food, and treats!  I was so happy that some of my old friends could join in the fun with my new friends!!  I had the best afternoon ever!!  Being 10 has been pretty awesome so far!

The Big 1-0!!

Birthday breakfast of champions!
Double digits!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!

Farrell's ice cream nachos for me!!!

And a chocolate cake!

I got a pouch couch -- it is so comfortable that I even slept on it one night!

Pizookies taste better with candles on top!

My birthday was on a weekday this year!  Usually, it is on a day that I don't have to go to school because I used to be on A-track and we were either already off or it was the last day of school. It was still fun to have a birthday on a school day!  I had a birthday donut for breakfast and Mommy surprised me by picking me up from school to go out to lunch at Ponino's!!  After school, I got to open presents and we went to dinner at Farrell's!!  (And, I still had my chocolate birthday cake when we got home!)  It was a pretty good start to my second decade!!

Mommy and Daddy were SO proud of us both for earning awards!!  Danni got an award for academic excellence in all areas and I made the honor roll for 2 trimesters of 4th grade!  Hard work definitely pays off!!!

Danni earned a trip back to the Great Wolf Lodge for selling so many Girl Scout Cookies this year!  We ALL got to go with her!  It was a great event!  We got to enjoy all of the water slides AND an all-you-can-eat s'mores party!  Danni and I probably ate ten s'mores each!  (Water sliding makes you work up an appetite!!)  We are so grateful that we got to celebrate all of Danni's hard work in selling cookies as a family!!

It's about time someone straightened us out!!  Danni and I got our braces put on!  They were a little sore at first, but we got used to them really fast!  I can't wait to see what our smiles look like when we get them taken off!!!

The Easter Bunny visited Papa's place!  (We didn't bring baskets... but Halloween buckets worked fine!)

We flew kites at the park... Suz couldn't get this butterfly to soar!

Papa and I were the best kite flyers!

The Bunny visited our house too!!!

Eggie hunting in the front yard!

She found all of the girl colors!

Spoiled!

Me too!!!
We celebrated Easter with an egg dying party at Papa's house!  Every year, less and less of his patio gets colored!  We are making progress!!  On Easter morning, we made Papa our traditional waffle breakfast.  I love the whipped cream the best!  Mommy never lets us have it at home so when we are at Papa's it is a real treat!!!  After breakfast, the Easter bunny hid some eggs on Papa's green belt, so we went on a hunt!  We found eggs with money inside and tons of candy too!!  Then we went to the park and flew kites.  Papa and I were the best kite flyers!  I connected three things of string to my kite, so it sailed super high!!!  We had pizza at Toppers for lunch before we had to head back home.  When we got home, we were surprised to find that the Easter Bunny had been here too!!  We hunted for some more eggies and looked at all of the treasures in our Easter baskets.  I love Easter traditions!!!

Spring Breakin' in Vegas!

Mommy and I always get up early and go on a walk... no one was at the pool yet!

We were happy to help with luggage delivery!

It was a little chilly... but we still spent lots of time in the pool!

Warming up after a swim!

We decorated the room for Daddy's 50th birthday!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!!!

This girl took Daddy to the Children's Museum for his birthday! Just what every 50 year old wants to do to celebrate!!!

There was a cool search and rescue exhibit...

Glow golf!

Lego tower building at Container Park.
For Spring Break, we headed out of town to our favorite hangout in Las Vegas!  We hit all of our favorite Vegas spots.... the Children's Museum, the M Buffet, Container Park, and the resort swimming pools.  We also went to the Hoover Dam (to make Mommy and Daddy happy!) and we discovered a new, super cool place called Glow Zone.  Glow Zone had a bunch of climbing structures and games to play in black light.  Everything glowed! While we were there, a guy broke his ankle on the Ninja Warrior course.... right before Danni was supposed to go.  She decided not to do it after that!!  This Vegas trip was also special because we celebrated Daddy's birthday while we were there,  Mommy, Danni, and I made a party for him.  We decorated the room with steamers and we got him a giant cake!  We also took him out to dinner at Gulliver's to celebrate (and to Cheesecake Factory too!)  Our friends the Benors joined us for part of the week and we had a great time playing with their girls.  Can it be Spring Break all year long?!
