Circus Nastius

One of the FIVE cheesey stuffed toys that we dragged home....
Danni LOVED this trucker game...  future 'large Marge?'

She's a very good drifer!

She has learned the word 'money' and was crying for the moneys in this machine!

My assistant and I workin' the Skee Ball lanes....

SCORE!!

I popped a balloon in the dart game!!!

Concentrating - although I was super excited.  I have never gotten to THROW sharp objects before!

Playing the hitter game!

She's almost big enough to play!

TICKETS!!!
Daddy had never had the 'pleasure' of visiting Circus Circus ... so we took him on this trip.  It was underwhelming to say the least!  ;P  The place is a little bit scuzzier than Mommy remembers from when she was a kid... BUT the carnival games were cheap (and easy to win!) ... Danni and I enjoyed our time there... but I don't think any of us are in a big hurry to make a return trip!  :)

Serendipity Sweets!

The Black & White Sundae... before we destroyed it!

Danni got the first sip of the hot chocolate!

I jumped right in!

It tasted like super cold chocolate milk....

...even when you drank it with 4 straws!

Burning off some silliness outside...
Daddy was able to sample a world famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity when he lived in New York.... Now that they have opened a location on the West Coast, the rest of us got to taste one too!  We headed over to Serendipity (which is out in front of Cesar's Palace) for a couple of sweet treats.  We HAD to get the famous frozen hot chocolate... and we also got a decadent 'Black & White' Sundae.  It had hot fudge, hot white fudge, marshmallow cream, and chocolate and vanilla ice creams.  Mmmm...  We all agreed that the sundae was way yummier than the hot chocolate...  Hope we get to go back to sample the rest of the menu!!!

Hoover Dam

Now that I'm getting a little older, Mommy and Daddy feel the need to take me on some educational excursions while we are on vacation.  We took a little day trip out to the Hoover Dam to check out the new Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.  It was REALLY impressive.  I hate to say it, but I was much more interested in checking out my 'new' stroller....  Daddy's truck had some last minute troubles, so we couldn't fit the BOB (and all of our crap) into Mommy's Jeep.  We craigslisted a double stroller when we got to Vegas!  Sweeeet!!!  Oh yeah... Hoover Dam was amazing!
Danni was excited about our 'new' stroller!

The new bridge!

Daddy with us underneath the bridge

Danni's favorite part of the trip was the gigantic soda....

I liked riding the Hoover Dam transportation ... the giant escalator was fun!

The elevator rocked too!

Looking at the water side of the dam....

Looking at the dam side of the dam.  (Notice that it says "Please Keep Off" on the wall.)

Right before Daddy got yelled at for not being able to read....

Danni inspected the stroller construction while we had lunch....

Cupcake Camp

We headed out to the Mission Inn in Riverside to help raise money for breast cancer awareness at an event called 'Cupcake Camp IE' ...  ANYTHING with the word 'cupcake' in its name is bound to be a hit!!!  Basically, a whole bunch of bakeries from the IE and San Diego made a zillion cupcakes and donated them.  People who attended donated $$ to get in, and could select 4 cupcakes to sample.  YUM!!!
There were TABLES and TABLES of cupcakes...  I wanted to hold the one that Mommy took!!

Danni enjoying the candy straw in a pink lemonade cupcake...

Don't EVEN try to mess with Danni's cupcake!

Serious frosting action!

She LOVES her cupcakes!

She's contemplating a swipe.....

Mischievous little baby!

Eating my second cupcake down low...

Sampling the chocolate ganache on my third cupcake... Mmmm....

Rock Star!!

Striking a pre-concert pose...

Rocking out on my 'kitar' ....
Mommy hopes that the nekkid rock star phase gets out of my system in toddlerhood.... and doesn't resurface when I'm in my 20's!  ;)

Wild Kingdom!!

One of my favorite ways to burn off energy is to bounce it out...  We headed to Wild Kingdom for a morning of climbing, jumping, and playing!!!  This is always a hit!!!  The highlight of this trip was their baseball machine.  Usually, it is over run with big kids (and Mommy is afraid I will get whacked in the face by the bat) ... since no one was around, I got to have it all to myself!!!  I've got quite a good swing.. maybe baseball will be my sport!

Sliding down the tallllll slide!

Danni was determined to climb through the obstacle course!

She has a little worried about the wind in her hair!

Batter up!

Homerun!!

Gotta work on my grip... but otherwise, I'm a natural!

I love bouncing!!!

Halloween Parade II

One of the great things about visiting Ventura for Halloween is the fabuolous parade that Auntie Lynn's neighborhood puts on.  All of the kids on her street line up and parade to the end of the street ...  then the houses are all open for trick-or-treating.  The best part?  This all happens while it is still light outside.  Great for me (since I am not toooo fond of the dark) ... and for Mommy and Daddy (my bedtime stays intact!).  Danni was too little to walk in the parade last year, so she was excited to do the route on her own!  We also were brave and hit a couple of houses for tricks and treats!  (Last year, I was way happier handing candy out to the kids!)   I got a couple of sunters and was ready to call it a night!  :)  I love Halloween!!

Pre-parade picture with the three of us looking in the same direction.

Danni likes iphones!

Danni was a little shy about parading at first...

Then she got brave!

Mommy caught up with her love bug for a picture...

She wasn't thrilled about being captured by Daddy!

It started to get dark, so I busted out the glow stick!

Trick-or-treating!
