When the weather isn't rainy, we all like to get out of the house to get some fresh air.... and to do some shopping! There is a great little mall nearby that has an up&down AND a candy store in it! Can you say bribery?! I am ALWAYS a well-behaved little boy on these shopping trips!! :)

Danni was all showered out....

Most guys go through life without EVER having to go to a baby shower. My daddy didn't have the 'pleasure' of attending one until *I* was on my way.... somehow I have reached this milestone a bit early.... Mommy, Daddy, Danni, and I all attended a 'family' baby shower for Mommy's cousin Jon's new arrival.... Baby Grayson Staples. I don't have much to go on, but it was a pretty great shower! It was jungle themed and had tons of great treats (although I was REALLY bothered that Daddy at the legs off of a giraffe shaped piece of chocolate... then Mommy ate the giraffe's face off!) ... I played outside and met some pretty girls!! It was a fun day -- I can't wait to meet Baby G -- I will have some Team Blue company at the kids' table now!!!

.... and just like that, my life has changed once again!!! First I became a big brother... now I am a big brother on the run... Danni has learned to scooch/slide/crawlerize!!! And, guess where she wants to be?! That's right, all up in my grill! For now, I can outrun her... but I know the days are coming when that won't be the case.... Oh yeah... check out our new "cheese rug" (my parents put it over the carpet in our play area to protect it from dirt, food, and baby cheese...)

I am VERY used to being in the driver's seat ... at least when it comes to the cool carts that are out there!! Now that Danni has learned to sit up on her own, she is starting to want to get in on the action!! Luckily, the race-carts at Lowe's have two steering wheels! I didn't have the heart to tell Danni that hers didn't really work... she was having such a blast driving and all.... :)

I am doing a great job of teaching Danni the ropes.... one thing she has learned is that Mama Vee's house is FUN! :) There are always tons of toys to play with and fun snacks (for me!) to eat!!!! I didn't really want my picture taken this time... I wasn't feeling well (after my nap that day, I had my first fever -- 102!!) I STILL had a great time!! (And Danni did too!)

This was the first time that Danni rode in the stroller without her "pod" ... she just learned to sit up on her own!!

Okay... so I am becoming a Disneyland addict!!! A few times a week, I will ask to go to Disneyland to ride 'Small World' or the 'Up&Down' ... I also ask to go on said rides with Papa. He is my best riding buddy!! Papa met us for a fun day of playing in the Park. It was a perfect day -- the weather was cool, the lines were short, and no one had a melt down!!! :) Mommy and Daddy are definitely renewing their passes again in 2010! Yippeeee!!!

I LOVE to bake. Well, mainly, I love to work the big pink mixer. And I love to sample whatever it is I am baking... Yum! This week, I helped Mommy make chocolate chip cookies. I also helped eat them once they were made... the quicker I devour them, the sooner we can bust out the mixer and bake again!!!! :)
