I played hooky and headed to Disneyland with Papa!!  We took him on the Radiator Springs Racers for the first time -- he liked it (and I liked it more this time than the last time I went on it!)  Danni dragged him on the Ariel ride a bunch of times and we explored the adventure trails!  We ended our day with a yummy lunch on Main Street!  We LOVE the Diz... but it is even better when we get to go with Papa!!!

The secret to the smokey ice cream!!

We visited a super cool (as in -378 degrees cool!) ice cream place in Upland!  They use liquid nitrogen to flash freeze your ice cream creation - so you can dream up (and eat!) practically any ice cream creation!!  Danni and I had fun creating our own ice cream flavors - but the highlight was when they busted out the liquid nitrogen and froze it!  There was smoke EVERYWHERE!  I thought it was super cool!!!  We can't wait to go back!!

Danni's First Day of School!

Today was Danni's first day of preschool!  She picked out her own dress and shoes, allowed Mommy to curl her hair, and walked right in without a tear!!  She was excited to have one of my old teachers for her teacher - and I was excited to go back to visit!!  Hopefully, she will love it as much as I did!

We had a great time supporting one of Mommy's friend's charities (Kidsave!) at the La Mirada Wet n Wild 5K.  It was, literally, a cool race because it ended with a walk (or SWIM!) through a water park's Lazy River!!  That was, of course, my favorite part!  I wasn't worried about my finishing time, so I made about 10 laps through the river!!  Super cool!!!  To top it off, we got goodies AND a medal at the finish line!!!  Awesome!!  Danni had gotten shots at the doctor the day before, so she wasn't feeling up to racing.  She did have a wonderful nap in the stroller, though!  :)

We headed down to Temecula for a day of fun and relaxing!  One of our first stops was a visit to Professor Pennypickle's laboratory (which is also a children's museum!)  We had so much fun exploring his place!  There were lots of hands-on exhibits... and tons of secret passageways to run through!!!  Our only complaint is that Professor Pennypickle lives a bit toooo far from our house for us to visit as often as we'd like to!

This month's Home Depot project was a pick-up truck.  Danni, Autumn, and I hammered away and created some pretty awesome trucks!!!  We sure are getting to be good little builders!!! :)

Guess who was the first kid to be honored at our school's awards assembly this year?  ME!!!  My teacher chose me as the kid who represented ALL of our school's values/life skills!!  What an honor!  I was super surprised ... Mommy, Daddy, and Danni all came to the assembly... and then they took me out to lunch (at McDonald's -- my choice!) afterward!!  I just love making my family proud!!

One of my best (girl) friends turned six!  To celebrate, she had a princess fashion show party, which really wasn't my thing...  Sooo, her mommy arranged a special private party for Danni and I to enjoy that was a little more dude-friendly!  We went swimming, had pizza, and enjoyed some yummy cupcakes!  And, best of all, I got the birthday girl's attention all to myself!  Happy sixth birthday, Hailey!!
