Fun at the Fair!!

All ready for some Fair action!

Danni is ready for a quick getaway!  You never know what you'll see at the Fair!

We met baby Autumn at the Fair!  We LOVE her!!

Three amigos!

Farm babies!

Chickie love!

Guess who didn't get his way?!

Luckily, no one took a nose dive into the sheep pen...

I'm in the blue lane.... SUPER high up!

It was a FAST slide....

Okay... so I was a little scared...

... but I went again... this is the face I made after the second landing...  And I wanted to go AGAIN!

Mommy and Danni on the carousel.... she wouldn't ride any of the horsies.

The goat thought Danni's hair was deeee-licious!

Smiling at each other...

She wanted to take this baby goat home.... surprised that Daddy didn't let her!

I felt right at home with the wild animals!

Danni and Autumn took a piggy back ride!

The budget pony ride!

Playing peek-a-boo in the covered wagon....

Cowboy Z!

We spent an hour in the giant sandbox.  But we won't play in it at the actual beach!

She loved the green bug!

We went on an obstacle course... can you see Danni in the background?

Airborne!
It's Fair time again!!  Danni and I always love hitting the OC Fair ... there are so many fun things to do there!!  This year, Danni was a little older, so she got to enjoy some of the rides with me.... but not the Super Slide!!  I went on the tallest slide all by myself!! And, I went more than once!!!  (I really liked it, even though my facial expressions seem to say otherwise!  I BEGGED to go on it again!)  :)  We met up with Autumn and her grammie Jennifer and had a blast visiting all of the animals, munching on snacks, and playing in the gigantic sandbox.  I soooo wish that the Fair came around more than once a year!!!!

Swimmer Boy!

Swimming with Mr. Jacob...

She loves to be silly on the sidelines...

Trying to splash all of the water out of the pool!

I'm a GREAT kickerizer!

Waiting my turn to take a lap...

Yes, I CAN be still for a few seconds!  ;)

Rinsing off after a fun lesson!
I LOVE the water!!  And, I've almost got the whole swimming thing down!!  Yay!!  I might be able to swim without my life jacket by the end of the summer...  What a big boy I am!  :)   (And, can you tell that Mommy was messing around with camera settings for her photography class?)

Summer Sign Painters

Drawing out our plans... hers involved a lot of pink, and mine involved a lot of blue!

I loved the painting part!

Painting the tires for my race car...

Getting every last drop of pink paint on her brush... and on her fingers, and face, and in her hair....  :)

I dried it with the hair dryer AND my hand....

She was SO proud of her work!

Drying station!

'I'm gonna blow you away!'

Ready for the final touches...

All done!!  It's a sign for my room!

She wanted to take her pink kitty sign night-night!
Danni and I love to paint and to be creative, so we headed out to the Sawdust Factory to make some new signs for our rooms!  I chose a race car sign and painted it all by myself (surprisingly, I branched out and chose some colors besides my blue!)  Danni picked a kitty sign and decorated it with various shades of pink!  We had the whole place to ourselves ...  everyone there is always so cheerful and helpful... and the finished products are adorable!  I'm already thinking about what I'm going to make next!!

Tiny Dancer :)

She was excited about her 'ballet princess costume!'

Smiley Ballet Beast!

On her tippie toes!

Skeptical at the studio...  the mamarazzi is not allowed in the dance room...  :(

Mommy took a photo class and played with the lighting ... and a willing subject!

Pretending to be calm and demure....
While I am at kindergarten, Danni has been getting some quality time in with Mommy and Daddy... and she's learning some new things as well!  She started her first dancing class!  It's a ballet and tap (or as she calls it 'stomping') combo and so far she LOVES it!!  The dance studio banishes all of the grown-ups from the room where the lessons take place, so the mamarazzi was only allowed to watch through a window... Mommy thought this was a little extreme for 4-year-olds.... but, Danni loves the class, so Mommy's playing along!  I'm dreading the holiday season... the little girls do a dance recital and I bet I'm gonna get dragged along to watch it!!

Splashing at the Water Park!

STILL one of my favorite places!!

She loves to be right in the center of the action!  :)
Water makes me crazeeee!

Water makes her crazier!! ;)
Since I started school back in July, I don't get to visit some of my favorite hangouts as often as I'd like...  so I was SUPER excited to go back to one of my favorite hang-outs ... our neighborhood water park!!  You woulda thought Danni and I had never been there before!  We had the best time running through the fountains, splashing, and squealing!!  I hope it stays hot for awhile so we can get a few more visits in before the water gets turned off for the Fall!  :)
