Baseball Boy!

I share Mommy's disdain for processed pork products.  Yuck!

I was afraid the the seat was going to fold back up while I was sitting on it!

I had the front row all to myself!

NOT a fan of 'Tremor' the giant dinosaur.

Workin' on my swing!

I wouldn't smile for a pic with Mommy in the pretty flowers....
I can't believe that I'm almost 4 years old and I've NEVER been to a baseball game!!  Mommy and Daddy FINALLY took me to my first one!  We went to a minor league game - the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes... and it was a special occasion -- Mommy's favorite college professor, Dr. Joe Price,  was singing the National Anthem.  (He's singing at 109 of the 130 minor league stadiums in the US ... a world record in the making!)  I only lasted a couple of innings... I was more interested in climbing up and down the stadium steps than I was in watching the game!  I enjoyed the treats (but not the hot dog!) and REALLY didn't like the attention from the team's mascot.  I am looking forward to my next baseball experience!!!  :)

Happy Easter!!!

The Easter Bunny rang the doorbell and left buckets full of treats for us!

I had to look up and down the street for the Bunny.  When I was sure he wasn't around, I came inside with my loot.

I got TONS of candy and surprises!

Checking it all out!

Danni wanted to eat everything she touched!

So did I!

The Easter Bunny hid eggies in our backyard!  They were color coded -- mine were blue and green!

Danni liked finding eggies!

Some of the eggies had moneys inside!  These were my favorite.  I helped Danni pick up her spilled moneys.

She liked opening the eggies to see the surprises inside!

She especially loved the ones that contained CANDY!

Look at all the eggies I found!
Danni and I were super spoiled this Easter!!  On Easter morning, the doorbell rang... no one was there, but we found huge buckets full of all kinds of goodies when we opened the door!!  After sifting through our loot, we headed to the backyard and found all kinds of eggies ... some with surprises inside, and the 'nasty' eggs that we had dyed the day before.  Mama Vee came over and had a delicious Easter lunch with us.  It was a pretty perfect day!  :)

Easter Bunny!!

Danni was doing just fine, then the photographer dared to speak to her.

She tried to hide - I thought the photographer was pretty!!

Danni gave the beast face... I was getting ready to grab the roll of pennies that my parents bribed me with.
We visited the Easter bunny and totally surpassed our parents' expectations!  No one cried this year, and we both managed to take a picture where we were actually facing the camera!  Next year, we'll work on getting simultaneous smiles!  :)

Here's the pro-version!

Money Downers!!

It requires great concentration to 'load' the money downer!

I'd drop the moneys down, then Danni would stop them!

Demanding more pennies from Daddy.

I love money downers!

My latest infatuation is actually for a great cause!  I LOVE 'money downers' ...  or, some people may call them wishing wells, or donation boxes.  I especially love the ones like this one, where pennies and quarters 'race' down it and spin round and round!  Mommy and Daddy like money downers too.  Where else can they buy a little peace and quiet for 50 cents?!

Cookie Monsters!

Decorating cookies -- and everything else.  If you look closely, you'll see that we managed to get frosting on the chair too!

Danni's job was to sample the frosting!

Buttercream makes her smile!

I was the sprinkler!

Sugar high baby!
Mommy made a batch of sugar cookies for Easter!  Danni and I helped decorate them - and we handled the taste-testing as well!!!  Mommy handled the butter-cream clean up afterward....

Easter Egg Masterpieces!

I had to tell Danni the rules first.  (No splashing. No throwing eggs. No drinking the colors.)

I started with the green and blue!

Danni went straight for the pink!

'This eggie is blank!'

Danni found a yellow egg!

Teaching her the fine art of using an 'egg spoon' to get the eggies out of their colors.

Upsided!!

This one was my favorite-best!

Egg dying requires great concentration!

Teamwork!

So much for the egg spoon!

Danni forgot the rule about not splasherizing!

I taught her how to mix colors too!  :)
A year ago, Danni was too little to help with all of the Easter preparations!  This year, she was VERY into it!  I taught her how to dye Easter eggs ... and I must say, I'm a pretty good teacher, because she did an awesome job!  It was a beautiful day, so we dyed our eggs outside.  (I kinda think my parents wanted to be able to hose down our mess afterward too!)   We made some beautiful eggs ... but so much for eating them.  Boiled eggs are nasty!

Soccer Superstar!

Resting up for practice!

Goals are super easy to score when there's no one around!!

He scores!!

Running to get the ball!

Orange Crush is gaining on Blue Lightning!

Throwing the ball back in-bounds!

Excited to get a medal AND a goodie bag!

Another medal!!!

Posing with Coach Gabriel!!  (He rocks!)
I absolutely LOVE playing soccer!  I just wrapped up the last session.  My parents are amazed at how much I've learned since I started playing.  I mind my coach, participate in all of the activities, and I'm getting super good at dribbling the ball and scoring goals!!!  In fact, I moved up to play with the 4 & 5-year olds.  (Mommy and Daddy were kind of sad because the big boy league is MUCH more independent!)  Their little soccer star is growing up!
