Christmas morning was AWESOME! We awoke to a present explosion in our living room!! Santa must have gotten the message that we were REALLY good this year! :) My favorite presents were my Stinky Truck and my new red wagon ... okay... OUR new red wagon. Santa said it is for Danni AND me ... I will try my hardest to share!! We had so much fun lounging around in our jammies and opening gifts, talking and laughing with Mommy and Daddy. We took a break for a yummy breakfast and then had some more fun giving and getting!!! I wish Christmas came around more often!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

Twas the night before Christmas.... and Mommy and Daddy surprised us! We got jammied up and ready for bed.... and instead of heading to dreamland, we went out for a Christmas light drive and then for dessert!! What a treat!!! Danni got an ice cream sundae and I got some chocolate cake. We only shared a few bites with Mommy and Daddy! :) I hope that we have more pajama dessert runs!!! (And so do Mommy and Daddy... we slept in a little later the next morning!!) :)

Ahntee Suz gave us a super cool Christmas gift -- an ice cream maker!!! I could hardly wait to get home and fire it up!!! Even though it was rainy and cold, we busted it out and made our first batch of yummylicious ice cream.... vanilla, of course, because that's my favorite flavor! I helped Mommy mix the ingredients and poured the 'ice cream soup' into the maker... then 15 minutes later we had ice cream deliciousness!! I can't wait to help with our next frozen creation!!

We were allowed to eat our sugar sticks in the house as long as we stayed seated... in the laundry baskets. (These are easy to hose down afterward!)

We celebrated Christmas with Papa, Ahntee Suz, Auntie Lynn, and Molly Dog in Santa Paula the weekend before Santa arrived. It was cold and rainy outside, so we were super happy to be all cozy inside with a nice fire in the big fireplace. Everyone spoiled us with all kinds of amazing gifts!!! We couldn't believe that there were even MORE gifts to come after this gathering!! Christmas rules!!! :)

Danni and I love the arrival of the holdiays for many reasons --- mainly because it means that an an abundance of sweets invade our house! We helped Mommy whip up a batch of Christmas sugar cookies and buttercream frosting. I operated the mixer beh-beh and Danni was in charge of making messes with the flour! Mommy baked the cookies while we napped... then Danni and I were on cookie decorating (and sampling) detail! We love this holiday tradition!!! :)
