Summer at Mama Vee's

Playing flashlight tag with Mama Vee....

 Danni loves making music!

And climbing on tables....

DJ Zashi was in the house!

I loved singing/screaming into the 'microfoam'

I don't think the neighbors enjoyed it quite as much as we did!

On another visit, I helped Daddy build a table for Mama Vee...

Taking a break after a morning of hard work!

Mommy went back to work on August 2nd...  but Mama Vee is still on vacation!!!  Danni and I have enjoyed several playdates with Mama Vee.  She always knows how to spoil us!!  :) Our most exciting adventure was to the La Habra Children's Museum - Octomom and 6 of her kids were there...  Would you believe that this was the one time Daddy forgot to bring his camera?!

Happy Anniversary, Mommy and Daddy!!

Celebrating with MY love, Gracie!!

LOTS to celebrate!

Trying hard to keep my cake away from my sister...

Danni likes parties!

Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary.  According to the gift guide, the traditional 6th anniversary gift is SUGAR... Yay!  So they celebrated with a yummy cake with our Tuesday night dinner crew.  YUM!  It also happened to be Garrett's 10th birthday and Gracie's parents' anniversary as well...  Celebrating was deeee-licious!!

Nursery Invasion!

Danni loved walking through all of the flowers...

My favorite parts were the lakes and waterfalls...

Danni wanted to go swimming...

Rock climber...

Mommy and Daddy are doing some planting in our backyard...  We visited an awesome nursery in Fontana in an attempt to find some trees and flowers to plant.  Who knew that nurseries could be so stimulating for toddlers?!  Instead of doing some quality shopping, my parents spent the majority of their trip chasing us around and keeping us out of the waterfalls, fountains, and lakes on the property.  Next time, I think we will be left at home!  ;)

Tuxes are NOT for me....

Daddy pretended that he didn't like getting measured for his tux...

I didn't pretend at all.

I limped around the showroom in the "ugly shoe" ... and to make it worse I had to wear a piece of panty hose.

A See's sunter made things a  little more bearable...

Tug of war with the measuring tape made things a LOT more bearable....

Danni loved Daddy's "ugly shoe" ....

I am the ring thrower in Uncle Po and Kelly's upcoming wedding....  The date is getting close, so we had to go get measured for our tuxedos.  This WAS NOT my idea of fun by any means.  But, with a lot of bribery, I finally cooperated....  My parents are hoping that I am getting all of my objecting out of my system before the big day.....  hmmm... maybe I'm just getting warmed up!

Diz in July!

Danni is too little to go on the  big rides... so she and Daddy had to wait for us ....

Second time on the "superfast train"  (aka Thunder Mountain) ... I loved it!!

Thanks to the Baby Switch Pass, I get to ride two times in a row.  Daddy was more scared than Mommy!

Who needs rides for entertainment when there are drinking fountains?

Going across the swinging bridge in Tarzan's Treehouse

Danni was scared, so Daddy and I held her hands...

We got Mickey 'sunters' to finish the day....

Mmmmm.....

Danni has good taste... just like me!

While the weather was uncharacteristically cool, we made a quick trip to the Happiest Place on Earth...  It was wonderful to enjoy the rides without sweating our booties off!!!  I am officially tall enough to ride the big boy rides now, so I insisted upon going on the 'superfast train' ...  I laughed the entire time.... guess who's gonna be a daredevil?!  ;)  We went on a few rides, climbed around in Tarzan's Treehouse, then grabbed some sunters and headed home for naps.  Hopefully, it won't get toooo hot in August and we'll go again before the summer's over!

Daddy's Helper

Washing "all of the mess" off of Mommy's window....

Cleaning up high...

And.... you can't forget to wash the side of the car too....

Who says guys can't multitask?!

Now that I am 3 years old, I have to start learning how to be more helpful!!  One of my first (self-appointed) jobs is to assist with the car maintenance.  Any time that Daddy gets gas, I help... whether he needs it or not!  I am also a fantastic window washer.  (But I get upset when I can't take the window washer thingie home with me when I'm done!)

Backyardigans!

I made a giant circulo for my Thomas train!

All aboard!!!

I even "shared it to Danni!!"

Danni loves to chase beach balls... sometimes she even catches one!

Daddy filled up the pool... Danni skinny dipped for the first time!

This little "chinny grin" means that she's super happy!!

She actually likes dipping her face into the water!

Going for a float in the hot tub...

Loving the sprinklers!

Can you spot the sprinkler streaker?!

Danni and I have discovered all kinds of fun things to do in our very own backyard!!!!  My new favorite activity is drifing my Thomas train around!  (We scored it at a yard sale for $5!!!) I love building Thomas' track... and he also "off roads" ...  so I can cruise on the patio and grass as well!!!  It has also been warm enough to fill up our kiddie pool...  Danni has REALLY enjoyed splashing around in the (super!) cold water...  Brrrr!!!!  I love the sprinklers and hot tub myself!!

More Splasherizing!!

Now that Danni can walk, she follows me everywhere!

Sometimes she runs ahead....

I keep her from getting tooooo far off course!!

I LOVE the water canons!

Especially when I can use one to spray my sister!

Danni didn't mind getting drenched!!

Happy little water dancer!

Danni's friend Seven Baby came along for some fun.  Danni can't wait until she can walk too!

Water parks make us SMILE!

After some gloomy July days, the heat returned... this meant that a visit to another local water park was in order!!  Danni hasn't ever been to this one... so I "showed" her the water canons (it was a VERY wet demonstration!!) ...  she had a terrific time chasing me and splashing in puddles.  We love summer weather!!

Shady Lady

Danni can put her (pink!) sunglasses on all by herself!!

I love that shady little lady!

I took mine off.... can't hide these baby blues!!

Mommy and I invaded the Dollar Tree last week and found that they had infant/toddler sunglasses!  In every color of the rainbow!!  I love sunglasses... they help to "get the bright out of my eyes" ... so we stocked up.  Danni got her first pair.  You can tell that they were a hit!!
