It has been WAY too long since we have gone on a family vacation... so I convinced Mommy and Daddy that we should spend a few days in San Diego. We got an awesome 2 bedroom/2 bath villa at the Welk Resorts in Escondido and spent 5 days relaxing. I LOVED it ... there were so many new nooks and crannies to explore! I unloaded all of the cupboards, made crank calls on the phones, dragged all of the furniture around, and hid all of the TV remotes. I also had fun exploring the resorts 4 different pools! Two of them had "splash pads" which I know as "water parks" ... fountains and sprayers for kids like me to enjoy! I had an absolute blast swimming and playing. I am hoping that we go back there next year!!! (Then Danni can join me as a partner in crime!)

Kim Fox is our FAVORITE photographer! She came over when Danni was 6 days old to shoot some newborn pix for her birth announcements. Here are the adorable results!! There are also some shots from Mommy's maternity shoot! I think that Danni just might grow up to be as photogenic as I am!!! :)

Mommy, Daddy, and I decided to take advantage of Danni's portability... so we took her for her first trip to Disney's California Adventure! She went on two rides (she's too little to go on most of them!) ... and slept most of the time. I can't wait until she is old enough to splash with me in "A Bug's Land!"

Last week, I took Danni to the LBC to introduce her to Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Robert. They were SO excited to meet her -- she is their first granddaughter -- they have THREE grandsons!! We celebrated her arrival with a yummy breakfast at Denny's ... then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to play. I had fun with Grandma's foot massager!!

We took our first road trip as a family of four to Grandpa Larry's house for the July 4th weekend. Danni and I were both on excellent behavior for the ride there (and home too!) we both napped at the same time... even Mommy caught a few Z's!! My favorite part of the visit was swimming in Papa's pool!!! We splashed and played on my "motorboat" (kickboard) for hours ... and Papa taught me how to "fall in" the pool (that's what I call jumping in to the pool)!!! I had fun showing Danni around Papa's house!! I think she liked Ventura as much as I do... can't wait to go back!!!!
