Weird Science!!

Carefully recording observations of the rock specimens....

She inspected the rocks with her magnifying glass...

Constructing a kaleidoscope

It worked perfectly!

Mine too!

Exploring bird beak adaptations...

Daddy was into it too...

Checking out some crystals.

Pretending not to mind holding an earthworm

Making earthwork observations...

She wasn't bothered by it at all!

She was very gentle.

Who's ready to go fishing?
One of our favorite events at Rosa Parks is their Science Night!  We look forward to the night in the spring where they open up the school and allow kids to do science experiments with their families!  This year was no exception.  We got to classify rocks and minerals, observe crystals, make slime, build kaleidoscopes, and observe earthworms.  We will miss this event when we change schools next year!!
