First Grade Field Trip

Being in nature all day makes you hungry for frozen yogurt!

Danni and her class took a field trip to the Hidden Valley Nature Center.  They got to learn about animals, make a craft, and go on a hike through the Nature Preserve.  I went on the same field trip when I was a first grader!!!  It was a little rainy on the day of the trip, but Danni didn't mind!  Her favorite part was hunting for tadpoles in the swamp... but they were all hiding, so she didn't actually catch any.  Mommy wasn't too sad about that!
