Cali Girl at Universal Studios

Her first "swap" ever!

Danni found some new furry friends!

And a yellow friend as well!

Her favorite ride at Universal Studios.

Don't bug her, she's flying high above your head!

I liked the Bug Ride too!

This ride was empyt, so we went on it about 25 times in a row!

They had a splash area... but it was tooooo cold!

Guess who did not want to go on the Minion ride?

Don't bite me, Shark!

The Girl Scouts got to enjoy a catered lunch, face painting, a balloon artist, and a DJ in this building!!  VIPs only!

Krustyland!!

Danni got a Mewozowski painted on her cheek.

Facepaint, balloon crown, and a buddy... what else does a girl need?

The purple minion wasn't too scary in person!

Danni-Lisa posed with the Simpsons!

Biker girl!

With the Despciable Me girls!

More Bug Riding!

The animatronic Velociraptor almost took a bite out of my hair!

Enjoying the long escalator ride from the lower to the upper lots... or at least I was enjoying it!

A more smiley Minion pic later in the day....

Ready for some action!!

Harry Potter World!

Butter Beer Toast!

The Girl Scouts could have all the Lard Lad Donuts that they could hold!!

Too much fun!

All tuckered out!!

MORE cookie prizes... this time we got to go to "Cali Girl" ... a special event for all of the girls in our region who sold 750 or more boxes of cookies!!  The girls were really spoiled!  They got two tickets to Universal Studios, special Harry Potter-inspired t-shirts and lanyards, wristbands that got them into a VIP lunch party, and then the park closed at 10 p.m. to the general public, but the girl scouts got to stay until midnight - and they got all kinds of free treats and access to all of the rides (without lines!) on the upper lot. It was definitely a wonderful reward! I loved all of the rides at Universal Studios -- especially the new Harry Potter ride.  Danni was not a fan of most of them... she thought they were scary even though they were mainly just motion simulators.
