Haunting the Desert Springs Preserve

This masked purple kitty is ready to grab some CANDY!

We hit the 99 Cent store for the occasion!!

We loved their Halloween decor!

Not to be rude... but Danni is WAY prettier than her new friend!

Roaming through the hay maze!

I found a furry little buddy!

It looks like she was pulling this little guy's tail, but she wasn't!

We stayed dry in this green tunnel during a little thunder storm!

I like getting my face painted, even though Danni called it 'boy make-up!'

Rainbow girl!

I chose a blue Angry Bird.

After the rain, we went in to warm up by the 'campfire'

The tent was just my size.

Danni wasn't shy... she jumped right up on stage with the singers!
We headed to Vegas for a little mini-vacay during our off-track time!  We always love to check out some of the local events!  This time, we found a super cool kids' Halloween festival at the Desert Springs Preserve.  They had all of our favorite Halloween activities...  trick-or-treating (and CANDY!), games, singing and dancing with a live band, a petting zoo, a haunted hay maze, crafts, yummy treats, face painting, and prizes!  We also got rained on!  (Which was fine with us, because a whole bunch of people cleared out... and when the rain stopped, we had the whole place to ourselves!)  Vegas kids are so lucky to have such a fun event near their houses ... and we are so glad that we visited at the right time to enjoy it too!!
