Even though it was like 108 outside, we still enjoyed picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch!

We helped our little city celebrate its 5th brithday at the beginning of October!  The celebration lasted all day long!  The first event was the Eastvale 5K/10K. We slept through it....  The next event was a parade through the city... it included all of our fire trucks, our high school and junior high bands, and a bunch of entries from other community groups.  Danni and I only liked the entries who threw candy and prizes to the audience!  After the parade, they had a carnival where we got to play on the bouncers and win prizes at several carnival games!  We won a bunch of candy and other treats!  Later in the evening, they had a laser light show -- it didn't end up working and we were disappointed.  But, we made ourselves feel better with a trip to grab some frozen yogurt!  We were partied out after a day of awesome celebrations!  Happy Birthday, Eastvale!!
