Our hotel was SUPER close to Uchisar Castle so it was a quick trek up to explore it! Most of the interior is closed to tourists, so we climbed the neverending (modern) stair case on the outside of the castle... all the way to the tip top. From up there we had an amazing view of the city below. It was well worth the workout to get there!! Mommy was a little nervous because the hand rails and guard rails were constructed with Turkish standards of safety in mind... thankfully, we all managed to walk our way down ... no one took a tumble! :)
