Field Trippin' with the Second Graders!

I met a boney friend!

Another dinosaur tried to bite me!

I got to hunt for valuable minerals and rocks!

I found a pretty one!

I found a dozen for Mommy and a dozen for me!

My class took a field trip to the Jurupa Cultural Center. We got to see dinosaur bones and a bunch of old rocks.  We also got to go on a nature walk, then we got to dig for fossils and minerals in a huge rock pit!  We were allowed to take 12 rocks home!!  (I got to take twice that amount because Mommy let me find rocks for her too!)  My favorite part was the picnic lunch... in the shade!  It was SO hot there!!!
