Daddy picked us a great place to stay... our room is on the second floor above Z's head!  It was beautiful!

We took a road trip up to Oakland to visit grandma in her new place.  We made some stops to explore along the way!  One of our favorites was Santa Cruz.  We stayed at a beautiful B&B right across the street from the beach.... and right downt he street from the Boardwalk.  After a little nap, we ventured out to explore the pier - we had fun watching the sea lions jump up onto the beams of the pier for their evening naps.  We also walked down to the Boardwalk.  The rides looked a little too scary for Danni and I (NEXT time!) so we settled for some sweet treats instead.  It was way cooler in Santa Cruz that we are used to!  It felt nice to be chilly in the middle of summer!!!
