She wasn't so brave.  A wave splashed her and she was done.  Girls don't like ocean water in their hair!

I was done when a wave washed a whole bunch of sand into my pants.  "I don't like sand on my butt!"

I didn't like it THERE either...

Our Big Station House was a mile from the beach, so we HAD to spend some time enjoying the sand and surf!!  We had fun building sand castles (with our improvised McDonald's cup buckets!), hunting for sand crabs, climbing rocks, and jumping waves.  I am usually not a huge fan of the beach, but on this trip I hopped right into the water and had a blast jumping around in the waves with Daddy!!  I called it a day when my swim trunks got filled with sand...  not comfortable!  (But, I still want to go back!!)
