I've been oblivious to the whole concept of pinatas before now....

Okay.... so they said to hit the pinata... Danni and I just did what we were told....

Sitting and waiting my turn was easier because I had a goodie bucket to investigate....

First time whacking the pinata....  a whole new experience in the destruction department!

I had an impressive swing!

I didn't bust it ... since I was one of the first kids to go... everyone else needed a chance too...

I spotted some candy on the ground!

I got right up in the candy-grabbing action with the big kids!

I was excited about my loot... until I realized that I had grabbed 'reddies' ...  not so into the hot stuff!

They had a waterslide/bouncer that I was only brave enough to try at the end of the party

It was 115 outside, so the pool was a fantastic place to hang out!

Danni had a ball in the water slide pool too...

Our neighbors, Andrew & Elizabeth, had a party to celebrate their 5th and 7th birthdays.  They had all sorts of yummy treats... pizza, candy, cupcakes, cake... you name it!  I especially enjoyed beating on the pinata with a big stick -- I'd NEVER done that before!!  I also LOVED playing on the water slide/bouncer ...  I was a little shy at first since there were some rowdy big kids in it... but when everyone else was occupied with present-opening, I tried it out and had a blast!!!   I asked Mommy and Daddy if I could have one... when I learned to poop and pee on the potty.... they agreed... and potty training began...  I know you're looking forward to pictures of that in the future... :)
