Happy 4th of July!!

Patriotic princess!

Silly little firecrackers!

Our wagon was all decked out for the parade!

Ready to march!

...and to ham it up for the camera!

We love parading with Papa!

We found the Chik Fil A cow!!

Get the parade started already!

I threw candy to the crowd!

Woops... I hit Danni with a couple!

After the parade we hit the street fair.  I won a t-shirt on the Toyota wheel of fortune!

I won candy at the ball toss (WAY preferable to a gold fish!!)

More candy for the basketball toss!

She got her face painted!

Never too young for a sobriety test...

She did pretty well!!  :)

Pony rides before fireworks started!

I was so happy in the saddle!!!

She got to ride the ponies a bunch of times!

I liked visiting the animals in the petting zoo!

Is your mama a llama?

The headless horsie rider...

Playing on the playground!

Having a ball!

Nothing says July 4th like a pink fish with sparkly bubbles (her choice for face paint #2!)

I picked a race car!

I made a firework out of yarn!

Hula hooping on the lawn...

My fire-breathing dragon hat!

Danni got a poodle wand!

Super cool balloon creation... worth the wait!

She loved the holiday treats!!!
We ALWAYS have a great time celebrating the 4th of July at Papa's house and this year was no exception!!  We started the day by marching in Ventura's Push 'em-Pull 'em parade.  It is an awesome event where a whole bunch of kids bring their decorated scooters, bikes, skateboards, strollers and march through Ventura throwing candy (and picking it up!).   After the parade, Danni and I collected a whole bunch of free swag at the street fair (I got some beer cozies, pens, stickers, water bottles, frisbees, and more!)  We stopped for some carnival games and for a yummy lunch.  After that we headed to a church festival complete with pony rides, face painters and a balloon artist.  We had a picnic dinner there and played until the sun went down... then we enjoyed an amazing fireworks show from atop the hill!!!  Danni and I were asleep before we got back to Papa's house!  It was such a wonderful day!!  Happy Birthday, USA!!!
