One of Danni's kindergarten friends celebrated her fifth birthday with a fun pool party (And I got to tag along!!)  Jasmine had an amazing pool complete with a built in slide an water fall!!!  We both got brave and jumped off of the water slide into the pool... it made Mommy nervous!!  It was a perfect way to spend an afternoon!!!  Happy Birthday, Jasmine!!!

Danni was invited to help her little friend Emily celebrate her 4th birthday at a super cool Frozen party!! The highlight of the day was a visit by Queen Elsa herself!  Elsa sang to the little girls, led a few party games, and then painted all of the girls' faces with sparkly snowflakes!  Danni was in awe of the Queen's presence, so she could barely manage a shy smile!!!  :)  Happy Birthday, Emily!

Ever since I played soccer, Danni has been wanting to give it a go!  Sooo... she is playing Fall soccer for the Philadelphia Ponies!  She played her first game this weekend and did a great job of kicking the ball and minding her coach!!  :)  I'm helping her to practice by 'coaching' her in the backyard (this mainly means that I blow my whistle and bark orders at her!)  She is destined for greatness!!

KidSave Peeps!

Our family ran the Wet N Wild 5K again this year to support our friend Sharyn's charity, KidSave.  This is the best race around because the final stretch is through the lazy river of a water park!  Since that is our favorite part, Danni and I went through the river about 10 times before crossing the finish line and collecting our medals!  :)  It was a great event for a great cause!!!

Hearst Castle!

Mommy has never been to Hearst Castle (just like Danni and me!) so while we were in Cambria, we decided to visit!  Danni was a little nervous about the bus ride to the top, but once we got going, she was fine!  We took a tour of the 'Grand Rooms.' Danni was unimpressed ("This isn't a castle!  This stuff is all OLD!") and I was not happy that we couldn't explore all of the rooms and find secret passageways and hiding spots.  I DID enjoy roaming all over the grounds after the tour!!!  It was also cool to see the wild zebras grazing on the hills near the castle!!!

Mommy and Daddy celebrated their tenth anniversary with a trip to Cambria!  (We tagged along, of course!)  We stayed at the Cambria Pines Lodge.  It was a beautiful place!!!  We loved swimming in the pool and exploring all of the pretty gardens!  Mommy and Daddy took us wine tasting too!  The winery had special bubbly grape juice for us along with candy and unlimited video games!  I don't know who had more fun!!  We are so glad that our parents love one another and we are ready for the next ten years!!!!

First Day of Kindergarten and Second Grade!

Yippee! It's the first day of school!!!  We missed our friends this summer and were so happy to see them again!  :)  Danni started kindergarten with Mrs. Thompson and I started second grade with Mrs. Hill!  Danni was SUPER excited to be at my school (I really enjoyed showing her the ropes, too!)  It's going to be a fantastic year!!!
