Birthday Party at the Drive-In!

All of my favorites...  friends, cones, caution tape, and the drive in! :)

Getting ready to load up my marshmallow shooter!

You'd better duck!!

Ready... Aim.... Fire!!

Danni is a sharpshooter!

I picked my cupcake/cake!

Handsomest 7 year old around!

Light up the candles!!!
I celebrated the big 007 with a party at the drive-in movies!!  We had a yummy dinner of pizza (tri-tip for the grown-ups!) and all kinds of goodies, and we had a blast riding our bikes and scooters, and playing with my cones and caution tape before the movie started.  We even did an 'art project!' Daddy showed us how to make marshmallow shooters out of pvc pipe!  All of my friends made a shooter, and then customized it with duct tape and electrical tape (I used SpongeBob tape on mine!)  -- and then the marshmallow war began!  (I feel sorry for the clean up crew!)  :)  Once the sun went down, we enjoyed cake and more treats and (kinda) watched the movie!!  It was a fantastic birthday!!  So far, being seven is GREAT!  :)

Happy Birthday to ME!

Starting my day with a SEVEN presents!!

It's good to be 7!!

I got night vision goggles!!!

They didn't work so well during the day!

Birthday love from my sister!

I celebrated with some games at John's Incredible!

Mommy let me beat her at air hockey!

Danni didn't let me beat her at the water spraying game!

Happy Birthday to me!!!

Skee Ball star!

Mama Vee gave me an awesome birthday basket!

And, she joined us for lunch at John's!!

I ended the night with a cupcake cake!  It was the best day ever!
Happy brithday to ME!  :)  I celebrated my 7th birthday with a day of fun with the family!  We started out with breakfast at Jack in the Box (I stopped and got a birthday donut too!).  Then, I got to go on a birthday shopping spree at Target and Toys R Us!  (Grandma Marilyn send me money so I spent some of it on some cool toys!!)  We hit John's Incredible Pizza for an afternoon of endless pizza and lots of games!  I didn't have to take a nap because I was the birthday boy, but Danni had to!!  After that, I chose to have my birthday dinner at McDonald's and I got a Happy Meal!!  We came home and had cake and cupcakes!!  I didn't want the day to end!!  Mommy and Daddy let me stay up as late as I wanted - so I curled up on the couch and watched TV for awhile ... I crashed around 11!  It was SUCH a great birthday!  I am one lucky seven year old!!! :)

More Disneyland Fun!!

Taking a spin in the tea cups with Daddy!

Meeting up with Papa made the Happiest Place on Earth even happier!!

She was happy for a little bit... but then she was upset that her feet wouldn't reach the pedals on Autopia!

Ready to go into orbit with Daddy!

Tired little Jungle Cruiser!

She loves that Papa!

One of her fave rides with one of her fave people!
Mommy and Daddy let me ditch school for a special day at Disneyland!!!  We took advantage of our 'Magic Morning' and hit the park bright and early to get on some extra rides!  (We ended up doing about 7 rides in the first hour we were there!  Wow!!)  To make the day even better, Papa joined us!!  It was so fun to enjoy all of our favorite rides with him!!  Danni was sad that Small World was still closed for refurbishment... but to make up for it, she went on Ariel about 25 times!  ;)  I love making Disney memories!!!  When's our next trip?  Oh wait... not until August because we are blocked out this summer!

Party at the Park!!

It was a little chilly... but Carolyn and I didn't mind!!

Most of the boys went to play on the playground... Not me!  I stuck around for the bikini party!  ;)
To celebrate the end of the year, our first grade class took a field trip to the local park for a day of fun!  We got to wear our swim clothes so that we could run through the fountains in the water park!  Even though it was a bit on the cloudy and chilly side, I still got soaked and had a great time!!  After playing at the park, we walked back to school for a pizza party!!  It might have been the best day of school EVER!  :)

Happy Mother's Day!!

My mommy and her mommy!

We celebrated Mother's Day by making Mommy and Mama Vee breakfast at Mama Vee's house!!  After that, Mommy got to do all of her favorite things -- she went on a run, took a nap and cuddled with us and Daddy, ate her favorite dinner, and enjoyed some yummy butter cream frosted cake afterward!  It was a perfect day!  :)

Mini Golf with Mommy

Ready to golf!!

I had my own technique!

I made a hole in one!

Ready to take a swing at the ball!

Mommy's favorite little golfer!

We had a great date night!
My school had a super cool Mother-Son Night!  All of the mommies and their boys got to play miniature golf and enjoy a yummy dinner from The Habit's food truck!  It was cool because the mini golf course was set up on the blacktop at my school!!  I thought that was awesome!  We played about a million holes of golf - we didn't keep score because I didn't want Mommy to feel bad about losing to a first grader!  ;)  Afterward, we had burgers, fries, sodas, and cupcakes for dinner!!  I love having date nights with my Mommy (and I think she had a pretty nice time too!)  :)

Muffins with Mommy

Getting ready to sing the 'Happy Mother's Day to you' song for all of the mommies!

Flowers and kisses for Mommy!  (She made that flower herself!!)

Mommy's present!!
Danni's school hosted a special Mother's Day breakfast called 'Muffins with Mommy.'  All of the kids' mommies came to school with them!  The class sang some Mother's Day songs, then served their mommies muffins and fruit.  The kids had made their mommies a flower sign at their field trip to the Sawdust Factory earlier in the month - they surprised the mommies with them as their Mother's Day gifts!  Danni and Mommy loved their special morning together!!  :)

Bike to School Day!

Biking with the big kids!!

Scooting to school!
Mommy's school had a 'Bike to School' Day ... a bunch of kids met at our neighborhood parks and rode their bikes, scooters, and skateboards to school together.  Even though I'm only in first grade, I still got to participate!  Mommy and I met some of her kids (and her boss!) at a park and we rode to school.  I was a little embarrassed that my bike still has training wheels on it, so I rode my scooter instead!  :)  When I get bigger, I want to use my wheels to get to school every day!! :)
I love my Aunt Kelly... and the birthday boy too!

Picnicking with Cousin Kate!

Danni and Kate LOVED the cake!

I took orders and brought everyone some ice cold drinks!

Danni enjoyed some time with Mama Vee!

I read my book to Suz and Maren!

I love my familia!!
Baby Ethan is already ONE!  Time sure does fly!!  We celebrated his first year in the fam with an awesome party at his house!  I loved the cake... and the bouncer... and having my whole family together!  It was a great day!  Now I can't wait for Little E to start walking -- I'm ready to teach him to play!!  :)

Swimming in the OC!

All ready to take a dip in the pool!

Danni loves the water!

I'm part fishie too!!
Mommy ran a half marathon in Orange County... so Daddy, Danni, and I tagged along to cheer her on... and to take advantage of camping out in a hotel!  We spent most of our stay in the swimming pool - splashing, swimming, and jumping in!  (I think we got more of a workout than Mommy did!!)  :)
