Gingerbread Party!

I wasn't so sure about the taste of gingerbread.  (But I LOVE the taste of frosting and candy!!)  :)

I shared my cookies with Danni so that she could decorate too!

My gingerbread man quickly became a licorice whip delivery device!

Our kindergarten class didn't have a huge holiday party.  Instead, we finished up a reading unit that we have been doing with a gingerbread making activity!  In class we mixed gingerbread, rolled out the dough, and cut out the little men.  Our teacher took them home to bake them, then brought them back for our party where we got to decorate them with frosting, sprinkles, and candy.  It was on a Family Friday, so our parents (and Danni!) got to help!  I didn't really like the taste of gingerbread, so I just ate all of the licorice off of mine and licked the frosting.  (Well, the frosting that didn't end up smeared all over my jacket!)  :)
