Picture Perfect!

We took our annual family Christmas photos with Kim Fox.  It was a typical shoot.  I was flirting... Danni was beasting...  Mommy was trying to get us to mind....  And with all of that going on, Kim somehow managed to get some great shots in!  :)  We are always SO happy with her work and this year was no exception!!  Merry Christmas!!!

We continued our holiday tradition of visiting the Mission Inn for their Festival of Lights!  This year we went with the Callahan Family, the Juniper Family, and the Weltys!  We ate pizza, hit the cupcake shop, then walked around and enjoyed the lights, music, and strange performers!!  Danni and I loved staying up late to celebrate the season with our friends!!!  :)

Yet another confirmation of my Big Boy status!!  I lost my first tooth!! My bottom tooth has been wiggly for a couple of weeks and it finally came out (with a little help from my Daddy!)  I was hoping to have it hang in there until Christmas Eve so that Santa and the Tooth Fairy could visit in the same night, but I was a couple days early!  The Tooth Fairy visited and changed my tooth into money!  I got 5 golden moneys under my pillow in the morning!  Can you believe Mommy and Daddy used to get a quarter for their teeth?!

First Trip to the Dentist!

Now that I'm five, I'm old enough to sit still long enough to have my teeth cleaned!  Mommy took me to the same dentist that she's gone to since she was a little girl.  I was an excellent patient and wasn't scared at all.  I just giggled a little when Dr. Jeff used his tickly toothbrush to polish my teeth. The hygienist especially loved me and gave me THREE treats from the treasure box.  I also got a sweet new blue toothbrush!!

Don't mess with the Beast!!

We tooka  mini family vacation to ride the Polar Express in Williams, Arizona.  Danni and I have been reading the book, so we were excited to do everything in real life!  They read the story on the train (on the way to the North Pole!).  Mrs. Claus made us hot chocolate and fresh chocolate chip cookies.  Yum!!  Once we got to the North Pole, Santa hitched a ride.  He visited all of the train cars and gave us each a silver bell.  On our way back to town, we all sang Christmas carols!  It was a fun trip.  Of course, Danni beasted through most of it.  But she ended up having a good time, and was super relieved that Santa didn't catch her being naughty!  ;)
