Birthday Didis!

The two new additions... Sparkle & Speckle... only 3 weeks old.

Here are two of the reasons that the blog has been so far behind lately!  Meet Sparkle and Speckle - my birthday kittens.  For a few weeks now, anytime anyone asked me what I wanted for my big fourth birthday, I'd reply, "A didi.  A fluffy white didi."  About 3 weeks before my big day, guess what crawled out of our friend's bushes?  A mommy-less fluffy white didi (and his sweet gray brother!)  Mommy and Daddy were suckered in by their adorableness and my birthday wish came true... times two!  The didis were only 3 weeks old when we got them, so they still were drinking from a bottle, and they didn't know how to go to the bathroom on their own.  (That's true dedication and/or suckerhood from my parents!)  So far, they have been welcome additions to our family... Danni is learning not to pick them up by their necks, and our big kitty, Mojo, has realized that they aren't leaving anytime soon, so he has stopped hissing and growling at them.  I am looking forward to lots of sleepovers with them in my room when they get bigger!!
