Twas the Night Before Po's Wedding....

Uncle Po and my soon-to-be Auntie Kelly

Bribery works!!  I was promised a sweet gumball machine if I performed my ring thrower duties without incident at the rehearsal...  I did great!!!

LOVE my gumball machine... my parents love that it doesn't require any moneys!

Mommy and me with the groom...

I got to stay up WAY past my bedtime...  I was tired and not very fond of the dark sky outside...

Mommy and Daddy clean up nicely!

Mommy with Mama Vee, Po, and Papa...

I got to order anything I wanted at the rehearsal dinner.  I had lemonade and a huge plate of fries with ketchup.

I got a cool thank you present (a laptop!) from Po and Kelly!

The best reward was the GINORMOUS piece of cake.... Mmmmm!!

As you know, I was asked to be the ring thrower in Uncle Po and Auntie Kelly's wedding.  Mommy and Daddy were a little concerned about how it would all work out, since I had spent the last few months protesting about the clothes ("I don't want to wear these ugly shoes!" "I don't like that ugly jacket!") and professing my mischievous intentions ("I'm gonna take Po's ring and throw it in the street so the cars will run over it!!") ... The rehearsal was a test of how badly I would embarrass them .... and I guess I failed because they were REALLY proud of me!  I delivered the ring (well, my mommy's sparkly rhinestone ring) to Po on command and didn't make outside noises inside the church sanctuary!  They were SO proud.  Of course, I had been well-bribed.  A few days before, I wandered every aisle of Toys R Us to pick out two toys that I'd earn for proper ring throwing behavior...  My rehearsal bribe was a gumball machine....  it kept me entertained all night!!!  After the rehearsal at the church, we went to dinner at El Cholo in Whittier.  (I enjoyed a delicious Mexican meal of french fries!)  It was a tiring night and I stayed up super late....  Danni had to stay home with a baby sitter.  It was a great kick-off to the wedding weekend!!!  :)
