Children's Museum Fun with Papa!!

We loved Papa's super long straws!!

Our first visit to 'Papa's Children's Museum'

Papa was giving me lessons on how to be a good bartender...

Danni and I cooked up quite a spread!

Exploring a submarine!

Putting on a puppet show...

.... and a really large costume...

She makes an adorable firefighter!

The boots were as tall as she is!

Boat rower!

Mini astronaut!

Checking the view from space!

Hunting for fossils!

I found lots of dirt!

Lego building is my favorite!

Papa was her willing patient in the back of the ambulance!

We had a great time with Papa!!!
While I was off track, we spotted by Papa's house for a little visit!  We got to play at his place, sleep in his bunk beds, AND we explored the Children's Museum that is near his house!  We loved it!!  There were all kinds of cool exhibits to check out... I really liked the Lego area!  Danni was fascinated by the ambulance!!  We had so much fun playing with Papa (and Auntie Suz too!)  We can't wait until it's time to visit again!!!

Ice Cream Makers!

Scooping ice...

Shake it, Danni!

Ready to shake!

Almost done!

MMmmmmm!!!
Mommy's 8th graders got to make ice cream as one of their class experiments.  Since Danni and I love Science (and ice cream!), we got to tag along!  Who knew that you could make ice cream in a ziploc baggie?!  Super cool!!  It was easy AND delicious... and Mommy was glad that the mess stayed at her school!!!

Fantastic Gymnastics!

Balance Beaming... with a rope...

My favorite place... the foam pit!!

No fear!

Ready for a job at the circus!!

Gymnastics makes me crazy!
We LOVE open gym time at our local gymnastics place!!!  Since most kids were at school, we had the place almost entirely to ourselves!!!  I spent most of our play time jumping in and out of the foam pit!  Danni worked on her balance beam skills and her trampolining!  It was a great way to get some exercise and to have fun!!!

Great Times at Grandma's

We taught Grandma how to play Sorry!

She wasn't impressed with my piano playing skills!

Tree climbers!

There was a big pink monkey in Grandma's tree!

Puttin' in work on Grandma's exerciser!
We always love to visit Grandma!!  This trip was no exception!  We taught Grandma how to play a new game (and we even taught her the real rules... not the ones that we invent to make ourselves win!)!  We also climbed the trees in the backyard and explored Grandma's back room -- we found some old exerciser machines that we thought were super cool!!  Afterward, we took Grandma out to a yummy lunch!!!  When can we go back?!

Valentine's Cookie Monsters

Ready to decorate!!!

Creating my masterpiece...

FROSTING!!!

A cookie for Mama!

They are just as much fun to eat as they are to decorate!!!
Valentine's Day means SUGAR COOKIES!!!  Mommy made her famous cookies and put us to work decorating (and sampling!) them!! Danni and I made some delicious concoctions!  Most of ours had more frosting than they had cookie!  Perfect!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Danni's Valentine box... you'd never guess that it used to hold Rice Krispies!

Partying pre-school style!

Lots of sweet treats for these sweethearts!

Lots of love and treats inside that box!!

We visited Mama Vee and crashed her class's party!

I got to help pass out pizza!

I made myself at home at Mama Vee's desk.

Mommy tried to take a sweet pic of us together...

Danni thought the sun was too bright...

Upside down heart...

Lover boy!

Lover girl!

Happy Heart Day!!
We LOVE celebrating Valentine's Day!!!  We started the day with a party at Danni's school and ended up at Mama Vee's school for her class's party!  It was a day chock full of sweets and treats!!!  After we partied all day we came home and had a yummy homemade dinner ... then we got Cheesecake Factory cheesecake for dessert!!  YUM!!
