Back to the Diz... Already!

Hanging with Sinjin and Kyra at Small World...

We got along great!

A caged Beast!

Silly tonguesterizer girl!

Demanding 4 kisses and 4 loves!

Enjoying some treats!  (Thanks, Ahntee Suz!)

A teacup full of crazy!

She pretended not to like spinning so fast...

Astro blasting with Daddy!

I love the 'lasered' shooter!!
Our Annual Passes JUST expired... yet we are back at the Diz already!  Yay!  Mommy's school took a field trip to enjoy Disneyland, so the rest of our family tagged along!  It was a special treat because we were not expecting to go back for a really long time!  It was even more special because I got to stay at Disneyland until the field trip ended at 11 p.m. -- and then I got to ride the school bus home!!  What an awesome day!!!  I can't wait for the next field trip!!!  :)

First Building Day of 2014!

Mischievous builder girl!

Ready to ham it up!

Helping Daddy with the hammer.

I'm still in the mood for Christmas!

She got a little crazy with the paint!

Two of us wanted to show off our desk calendars!
It was the first Kids' Building Workshop of the year!!  This time we built desk calendars!  It was a little complicated!  ;)  Danni got upset at the end because she wasn't quite done painting when Mommy and Daddy made her clean up.  (She had no paint left, though, because it was all on her hands, in her hair, and on her face!)  I just loved January's project!  Can't wait for the next one!

Rose Parade!

The floats are SO beautiful up close!!!

We liked the play park on this float!

We met the grooms for this float later!  (Thankfully, we didn't meet any protesters!)

I loved the craziness around the Tournament house!  They were doing a news broadcast right behind us!  (Lots of cameras, cords, and lights to explore!)

I was on TV  (on the big screen on the side of the Honda float..)

The decorator on this float gave us flowers!
When Mommy was a little girl, Papa used to take her to see the Rose Parade floats BEFORE the parade started!  This year, she thought we were old enough to continue that tradition, so we rolled out of bed at 4 a.m. and made the trek over to Pasadena to check out the floats!  It was well worth the early wake up call!!!  I loved checking out all of the hard work on each float, and it was cool to see all of the action (and equipment) that is behind the scenes for the big parade!  We saw all of the floats, watched a few newscasts at the Tournament House, met some of the crazies who spent the night on Colorado Blvd. ('Are these people having a yard sale with all of this stuff?'), saw the Clydesdales, and then headed off for a warm breakfast as the sun came up. We got home in time to watch the parade on TV... then we took a loooong nap!  What a great way to start 2014!!  Happy New Year!!

After a nap and some breakfast!  Happy 2014!

Merry Christmas!!!

Santa was here!!!

Our stockings were packed with goodies!!!

New shoes!!

Hex bugs!!

She LOVES Minnie!!

Even better than what I had asked for!!

Cones almost as tall as I am!

Santa brought us 'phones' (iPods... but phones sounds cooler!)

He brought Mommy and Daddy some silence!

All dressed fancy and ready for our guests!

Present stalker...

She LOVES opening gifts!!

We were SO spoiled!!

Baby Ethan just wanted tissue paper!

Papa and I played with my circuit maker ...
Hooray for Christmas Day!!!  Danni and I were SO spoiled by Santa and by all of our family members!!  We started the day with TONS of presents from Santa (we must have been VERY good!) and then a yummy breakfast of Mommy's homemade cinnamon rolls!  Mmmm!  We played for awhile before our guests started to arrive!  Mama Vee, Papa, Auntie Lynn, Ahntee Suz, Grandma, Paul, Kelly, and Baby Ethan all joined us for Round 2 of Christmas craziness!!!  Danni and I loved every minute of the madness!!!  Christmas is definitely worth the year-long wait!!!

Christmas Eve Pajama Run!!

Ready for Santa!!

One last picture with our (empty-ish) Christmas tree!

My favorite best girls!

Pajama run!!!

Grandma and Autumn-Baby's family joined us for the fun!!

Jammie Fam!

I picked a hot fudge Oreo sundae!

Danni chose 'puppy balls' (pancake puppies) with white frosting!
It's almost Christmas time!!!  We were about to head to bed for the night when Mommy and Daddy surprised us with a pajama run to Denny's for a Christmas Eve dessert!!!  Even Grandma wore her jammies for the occasion!!  We enjoyed some sweet treats before heading home and crashing!!!  I LOVE pajama runs, Christmas Eve, desserts, and our family and friends!!!!

Gingerbread House Builders!

Ready to build!  We picked ALL of that candy ourselves!!

The tastiest construction ever!!

She made Christmas lights on her roof with Mike and Ike's :)

Danni's masterpiece!

Posing with her creation ... after Daddy washed the frosting off of her face and out of her hair....

I built and decorated this all by myself!  (I will eat it all by myself too!)  YUM!

Gingerbread house builder!
Last year, Danni and I made one of those gingerbread houses from a store-bought kit.  It looked okay, but the cookies and frosting tasted nasty.  So, this year we made our own from graham crackers and from all kinds of candy that we picked out ourselves.  I thought that the final results were MUCH better!  (They definitely tasted a lot better than last year's too!)
