I HAD to join in too!

It's pumpkin time!!  We trekked out to Yucaipa to hunt down the perfect pumpkin (and the perfect Halloween photo too!)  I loved driving the wagon through the pumpkin fields -- Danni is getting to be a bit of a back seat driver ("Slow DOWN, Zashi!"  "Don't bump me, Zashi!"  "STOP, Zashi!!"), but she enjoyed the ride for the most part!  We found a few pumpkins, climbed a few hay bales, and took A TON of pictures...  When can we go back?!

Yay for John's Incredible!  I got to pick the place for lunch and was in the mood for pizza and games (and Mommy ix-nayed Chuck E. Cheese).  I won a ticket jackpot on the space ball dropper (250 tickets!), so this visit was even more exciting than our usual stops!!  :)  I was REALLY hungry for pizza...  I ate ELEVEN pieces of their alfredo cheese pizza!!  (And I didn't throw up afterward!)  I can't wait to go back!

My school hosted a FUN Fall Festival that helped get everyone in the mood for Halloween!!  They had all kinds of games set up with CANDY for prizes!!  Danni and I played game after game and hauled away a pretty decent amount of candy in our trick-or-treat bags!!  I had fun seeing my friends from kindergarten (I haven't been to school since the end of September so I've missed them!)!!  I also got a kick out of being at school after dark!!!  Now, if only the weather would get a little cooler, it would REALLY feel like it was Fall!!  :)

Our Big Station House was RIGHT across the street from Legoland, so we walked there one morning, intending on having a day of fun!  After we'd been on three rides, the sky opened up and POURED rain on us!!  Unfortunately for us (and the hundreds of other people there!), when it rains, they close almost ALL of the rides!  Everyone headed for cover in the construction zones... We played with Legos for about an hour, and it was STILL raining...  sooo we opted for a 'rain check' ... really!   Since we had only been in the park for a short time, the Legoland people gave us a ticket to come back on another (sunnier!) day.  Danni and I were both glad to get out of the rain and back to our warm Station House!  :)  It was a short trip, but we still had fun!!!  :)

Our Big Station House was a mile from the beach, so we HAD to spend some time enjoying the sand and surf!!  We had fun building sand castles (with our improvised McDonald's cup buckets!), hunting for sand crabs, climbing rocks, and jumping waves.  I am usually not a huge fan of the beach, but on this trip I hopped right into the water and had a blast jumping around in the waves with Daddy!!  I called it a day when my swim trunks got filled with sand...  not comfortable!  (But, I still want to go back!!)
