Happy Birthday, Daddy!

I helped set the table for Daddy's birthday dinner!

Danni was too busy sizing up the cake to smile!

She didn't wait for a fork to dig in!

She loves frosting just like her mommy!!
We celebrated Daddy's birthday while we were in Big Bear!  We had a yummy steak dinner and then chowed down on some delicious birthday cake.  I was excited to celebrate Daddy's birthday because this means that MINE is next!!!  :)

Spring Break in Big Bear!

Resting up for a week of fun!

Surprisingly, Danni and I made awesome roommates!!

Danni claimed the bed by the window!

Snowman!!!

For the first time, she was HAPPY to find snow!

Happy snow bunny!

I went sledding right in my own backyard!

LOVED it!

I took Daddy for a spin down the slopes! (Danni helped launch us down the hill!)

He liked it too!

She thought it was hilarious when the sled tipped over.  :)

We got to go on a Big Bear pajama run for dessert...  with the condo's colander, of course... :)

Day #2 of sledding... Danni wasn't having any part of the action.

Child cruelty.

I was excited to carry my sled up a super big hill!

Double fisted snowball maker...

Danni and Daddy sat out the snow ball fight.

She loved collecting pine cones!

We found a bear at the zoo!

We saw a gigantic Bison at the zoo.

Riding bear back...

Danni found a raccoon didi just her size!

Silly bear rider boy!

Enjoying a show on the ipad before bed...

Tired baby put herself night night!

Toward the end of the week, the snow melted and we hiked along the shores of the lake!

I threw tons of rocks into the lake.  :)

A big tree fell down in the forest... it made a great bench.

Daddy and Danni tried to figure out how old the tree was.  She can only count to 12.

Playing hide and seek in the forest...

Peeking through the trees...
Mommy's on Spring Break, so we took advantage of her time off and headed up to the mountains for some relaxation and fun!!  It snowed the night before we got there, so there was tons of fresh snow for us to play in -- and a perfect sledding hill was right in the backyard of our condo!!  It was perfect because we'd play outside until we got cold... then we'd come in and hop in the tub for a warm bubble bath....  I had a blast braving the sledding hills... Danni wasn't into it at all.  This vacation marked the first time that Danni and I slept in the same room -- and Danni was in a big girl bed!  Mommy and Daddy braced themselves for all sorts of shenanigans...  but we surprised them by being absolutely perfect.  (I think it was because we were too exhausted to make mischief!)   We had a wonderful trip ... we visited the local zoo, went on a few hikes, and went shopping in town.  It warmed up at the end of the week and all of the snow disappeared...  Danni and I didn't mind, though because this meant we got to go explore the shores of the lake.  We both have super good rock-throwing arms!!!  :)  I can't wait to go back!!!

Soccer Star!

Getting instructions from Coach Gabriel...

Ready to play!

I stole the ball and sprinted down the field!  JUST missed the goal!

Learning to play a little dirty...  :)

I got a medal and certificate too!  (And an ice cream on the way home!)  :)
After celebrating the end of Danni's soccer class, I went to my own class (I play with the big boys!) and had my own celebration!!  I'm really starting to master the skills and to follow my coach's directions!  Almost ready for the big leagues!  I added another medal to my growing collection!  Yay!!!

Soccer with Danni!!

Hydrating before practice started....

Relaxing before the big game...

She was REALLY relaxed!

Playing 'fox tail' ...  I had to chase her and steal her 'tail' while she dribbled the ball...

Then we switched places ... she chased and I was the chasee...

Not quite what the coach said to do... :)

All suited up for the 'game' ... she was on the Grape Team...

So proud of her first medal!

Smiley soccer baby!

Her super model medal pose....
Our soccer season ended this week which meant that it was time for medals and fun!  This was the first time that Danni has played, so she was SUPER excited to earn a medal!!  She had a great time playing soccer -- although most of the time, she was doing her own version of it instead of the coach's!  ;)
