Valentine's PJ Party!

'P' is for PARTY!  (And Pajamas too...)

Valentine's treasures!

The party spread....

At the head of the table with Gannon!

Mommy made yummy cookies for my class!

My Valentine mail box...  covered in silver duct tape and Target $1 section stickers!  Cool!!
We celebrated Valentine's Day at my school with a FUN party.  It also happened to be the week that we're learning about letter 'P' so we celebrated THAT too by wearing our pajamas!  Super cool!!  We decorated Valentine mail boxes at home, then brought them to school where our friends filled them with all sorts of cards, candy, and treats!  After that, we had a feast...  heart-shaped PB&J, go-gurt, cookies, and cupcakes!!!  :)  YUM!

Fun with Dora & Diego!!

Loves for Diego!

I'm taller than Boots!

Danni climbed up Baby Jaguar's rock wall!

Beach ballin'

Danni Legofingers

Drifing the 'firetruck'  (it is really a Zamboni)

Excited about the rocket launcher!

I thought it was pretty cool too!

Blown away in the wind tunnel!
A couple of our favorite friends are visiting one of our favorite museums!!  Dora and Diego have a whole floor of fun this month at the Discovery Science Museum, so Danni and I decided to pay them a visit!!  As always, we had a great time exploring ...  Danni REALLY liked climbing and sliding in the Baby Jaguar play area.  I was loyal to my old favorite... the recycling game!  :)  Danni was brave this time and came in the wind tunnel with me!!!  :)

Danni's First Soccer Practice!

"You have to kick the ball, Danni!!"
"No, I luff my ball!"
She got over it and showed some pretty fancy footwork!

Playing games with Coach Gabriel!

Balancing act!

Ringleader!

Training the Beast...

Getting ready for a throw-in!

I practiced right after Danni got done!  It still makes me smile!
Yay!  Soccer is back in season!!  And, now that Danni is 2 1/2, she can play too!!  She was SO excited to put on her pink 'crusher shoes' and join in the action.  She also was super proud of her brand-new pink soccer ball.  It rode in the car with us everywhere for about a week before soccer started, and everywhere we went, she'd ask, "Are we playing soccer now?"  She minded her coach and played all of the games just perfectly!!!  My class started back up -- but I'm in the big boy league now, so I play when it's dark!!!  It was just as much fun as I remember it!

Valentine's Day Pictures!

Could it be?  A shot with both of us facing the camera and looking decent?!  ;)
Happy Beast!
Picture perfect....

Most of our pix are like this.... one off, one on....
Or BOTH off....

Sillies!!

Making up for HER lack of enthusiasm!
And again....
Any photo shoot is not complete without at least one shoving match....
Danni needed a nap part of the way through...

Sweet Beast!
SO close!

We were nice to Mommy and gave her a second decent pic too!  :)

Danni has to beast for a few frames too...

She saved a bunch of smiles, though!

And so did I!  :)
Mommy always likes to dress us up all matchy-matchy to take pictures for the different holidays.  Sometimes it works out for the best, but most of the time, we all lose patience with each other and end up junking the shoot.  :)  This year, she took 219 shots to get the three pictures that we used in our Valentine.   Thank goodness for digital cameras!  Here's a glimpse of some our outtakes.  You'd think she'd quit trying after dealing with our craziness!  ;)

Baby Builders!

All ready to get to work!

I'll need to give her some pointers....

It's MUCH easier this way!

Hammering her heart out....

All done and ready for PAINT!

Blue!!

Danni chose pink!

Happy little painters!
We haven't been to the Home Depot Kids' Building Workshop in a LONG time!!  We stopped by to make a cute little Valentine's box!  Danni got to make her very own project for the first time!  She was excited... and Daddy and I helped her learn the basics.  We particularly liked this project because it included a PAINTING option.  We could have painted all afternoon...  So fun!  Originally, I was going to give my heart treasure box to mommy for Valentine's Day...  but when it turned out super cool, I decided that it would be perfect to hold all my moneys and decided to keep it for myself!  :)

First Field Trip!

Getting apron-ed up!!

Gannon and I are the tallest guys in class!  (And the handsomest!)

There's just something romantic about learning about different types of saws and drill presses!

Painting the edges of my heart first...

Almost ready to finger paint...  ;)

Painting complete!!

Making sure everything is dry!

Our teachers sent in a tracing of our hands...  then the Sawdust Factory people cut them out of wood!  It was a perfect match!

Finished product!!  :)

Class picture!
My preschool class took a field trip to the Sawdust Factory in Upland!  We got to take a tour of the factory (Which included all sorts of cool machines that cut, drill, and sand wood!), then we got to paint and assemble a Valentine's Day sign with our hand print on it!  I was a little upset at first, because the Factory people had only set out purple, pink, red, and white paints for us to use.  No BLUE (my favorite best color!)  ...  I begrudgingly painted my sign purple.  When I went to the 'Speckle Station' (where we could do polka dots and speckles), I asked the lady there nicely for some turquoise blue paint.  She thought I was super polite, and granted my wish!  Yay!!!  All of the other guys in the class wanted blue too... but none asked as nicely as me!  :)  It was SUCH a fun day!!
