Another Pumpkin Patch!!

We rode through the patch in style!

Danni made some fluffy new friends!

I loved the bouncy slide!

Danni was too little for the bouncey slide, so she painted a pumpkin (and her face) instead.

We are into the white pumpkins this year!

Smiling while we pumpkin hunted!

Danni made her selection!

She threw hay in the air and yelled 'Surprise!!' :)
MORE pumpkin patch action!!  We visited a small, family owned pumpkin patch in Corona.  It was really cool ... they had awesome red wagons to load up with pumpkins, crafts, bouncers, and baby chicks!  There was so much to do that Danni and I almost forgot about the pumpkins!  ;)   Have I mentioned that I LOVE this time of year?!

Still Loving the Park!!

What to play with?  The soccer ball, the wood chip, or my sister?!

Danni loves to climb!

Practicing my cheesey smiles! :)

Tunnel baby!

The calm before the crazy!

Silly Beast!
How to make Play Park even more exhausting?  Bring along a soccer ball.  Mommy has been encouraging me to take my ball along... I inevitably end up playing a pick-up game of kick/chase with a group of guys, or I'll roll the ball down the slide, run to get it and repeat...  Tiring.  Oh wait... maybe that's the point?!

The Camping Experiment!

Daddy and I discussed the best place for our tent!

Danni helped to unpack the 'sticks' ....

I helped build the poles...

Amazingly enough, no one lost an eye in the process....

Danni was a lot of help!  ;)

Testing the zipper doors..

All moved in!!

I was 'fixing' Daddy's headlamp... Danni was loving her crazy hair!

Walking around the fire pit...

Excited to camp out!

Inspecting the campfire...

Crazy beast at the craft table!

Campfire time!

Watching the fire...

We both thought the fire was too bright!

S'mores with friends!

I was very careful to not catch mine on fire this time!

Mmmm...  I ate 4 ...  might have been the reason for our 11:00 bedtime!

OH BOY!!

Mommy and Daddy thought they'd see this before 11:00 p.m.

Not a happy camper the morning after.  Condensation from the tent dripped into her hair. :(
Our community has an annual family camp-out which takes place about a mile from our house.  Daddy thought this would be a great opportunity to test drive family tent camping.  :)  Danni and I were into it!  We helped build the tent, we made sure the air mattresses were nice an bouncy, and enjoyed all of the camping treats!  About 25 other families joined us for the campout... we played games with all of the kids and parents, made crafts, enjoyed barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs, watched a movie on a giant outside screen, then headed to the campfire for s'mores and songs!  What a great night!  And, most people were exhausted... but not us!  We bounced around our tent until about 11 before we finally crashed!!  Surprisingly, no one got up and left in the middle of the night.  Daddy and I had a bet that Mommy and Danni would bail for sure!  But, we were all troopers and got up at dawn to enjoy breakfast with all of our new friends around the campfire!  I'm pretty sure that Daddy is going to wait awhile before taking us camping again...  ;)

Saddling Up!!

Danni liked 'Flicka' the pony!

She was proud to take a ride... mainly because I was too afraid to do it too!

Look, Mommy, no hands!!
While we were at Tom's Farms, we visited the ponies...  and Danni actually wanted to ride them for the first time  (I have a thing about horses... not so interested in them!)  She had a great time with her new friend Flicka!  She loved petting his mane and blew him kisses after the ride!!  Uh-oh, has Norco rubbed off on my sister already?!

Star Performer!

Mommy's handsome boy...

All ready to perform!

Danni was proud to walk with me!

On stage in the sanctuary!

Singing the song... a little bit...

Showing Mommy and Daddy the 'dark seats that are high up'  (a.k.a. the balcony)
My preschool class was supposed to perform in chapel for the very first time.  My parents are airheads and got the performance time wrong... sooo, when they brought me (The Talent) to school, our chapel performance had already ended.  Bad Parents!!!  I still took them on a grand tour of the big church, and I got up on stage and did my version of the skit...  Hopefully next time, they'll get the time right and I can make my official debut!!!

Pumpkin Power!

Hugs by the sunflowers!

She wouldn't smile because there were too many bees buzzing around...

I fetched us a pumpkin wagon!

Enjoying the ride!

Daddy drove us super fast!

Showing Danni all of the pumpkins.  "These are still growing, Danni!  Watch!"

Say PUMPKIN!

She was upsided!

Danni picked a white pumpkin...literally!

I found a baby pumpkin!

She thought the warty pumpkin was hilarious!

I can finally smile on command!

This is how most of our photo-ops go ....

Soooo close to looking in the same general vicinity!

Danni picked another white pumpkin....

Pretty kitty!

Crazy Kitty!

Silly kitties!

Awwww....

I scaled the hay pyramid....

And celebrated with 'candy fur' ...

Danni had never tried cotton candy before....

It's safe to say that it was a hit!

I got in trouble for throwing hay right after this shot!

Danni gave a dollar to the monkey...

The monkey's hands were small and hairy...
Halloween is around the corner -- and that means that it's time to visit the Pumpkin Patch!  We headed to Oak Glen to pick our pumpkins right off the vine!  :)  Danni picked a white one, and mine was a traditional orange one!!  While we were at the patch, we had fun eating treats, climbing the hay pyramid, and making friends with monkeys!  The highlight of the day for Danni was our cotton candy treat!  She devoured the whole thing (well, except for the portion that ended up on her face, in her hair, on her hands, and all over her clothes!)  What a beautiful day!!!
