Happy Brithday, Keira!

Slinky in the goody bag = happy Zashi!

I got a balloon monkey!

Danni got a balloon flower bracelet!

Hanging with the birthday girl...

The 'Incredi-bear' stopped by to wish Keira a happy birthday.  Danni was demanding kisses!

The cake was awesome!

Mommy likes to party with us!

Danni tried her luck at the slots...

Daddy took her skee-ball away...  She wasn't having it!

Games require great concentration!
Our friend Keira turned 3 and celebrated with an awesome party at John's Incredible Pizza!  We had a great time stuffing ourselves with pizza, playing games, and eating cake!  While we were playing in the arcade, I won a 765 ticket jackpot on one of the machines!!!  Sweeeet!!  That's halfway to a lava lamp for anyone who's counting!  ;)
Sock-wearing sand haters unite!

Danni didn't care for the sand at first either!

I didn't appreciate getting my shoes and socks sandy (and wet - a wave got me!)

Sand from the comfort of the beach blanket is fun!

We dug it!

Watching the sunset...

The beach makes me thoughtful!

I got in a big hole!

Danni found a mussel shell!

First bonfire... and first time roasting marshmallows!

I didn't like it when my marshmallow caught on fire!

Skeptical ....

I made 2 more after this one!  YUM!

Danni liked s'mores too!

Mommy's lucky that this sticky baby wouldn't kiss her!  ;)
"The beach is bad!" That's what I said ALLLLL day, before heading out to Bolsa Chica with the fam.  Despite my complaints, we went anyways.  At first, I hated it.  I don't like sand on my toes ... so I would only walk on my own if I wore socks and shoes.  Then a wave got me.  :P  I warmed up to the beach a little bit when we got further on the shore and I could hang out on the beach blanket.  Danni and I had fun digging holes, filling up buckets, and finding shells.  Amazingly enough, I forgot about the sand and actually enjoyed myself!!  The best part of the trip was when it got dark.  I helped build a HUGE fire... and then I learned how to roast marshmallows and made my first s'more!  I hope, hope, hope to do it all again!  :)

Visiting the Fire Station

Taking Danni to see the fire truck!

Daddy took us around to the front!

Listening to the fireman talk about all of the cool gadgets and equipment...  I was into it!

Danni showed us where the firemen get their water!
Our local fire station had a special afternoon for kids to come visit... so Danni and I stopped by!  We were a little disappointed, though...  right in the middle of the fireman's talk, they got a call and had to go help someone.  I was hoping to get to push all of the buttons ... and run the siren!  Mommy says that she will DEFINITELY be taking us back to visit another day!  :)

My First Sleepover

Snoozing with Sparkle!
I had my first sleepover with a furry friend!  Sparkle was a pretty good little bed-buddy.  He didn't hog the covers, and he didn't bite my toes!!  :)

Happy Birthday, Baby Sean!

Enjoying a strawberry with Papa!

Breakfast with two lovely ladies at out own, perfectly sized table!

Swinging with Ramey and Danni on the bench swing!

Papa taught me all about the bubbler!

Danni loves to be tickled!!

I loved blowing the balloon up, then letting it go and watching it 'go crazy!'

Sharing some silliness with Papa!

Danni gave Molly some kisses!

A 'non-violent' pinata...  you pull ribbons until someone (like Danni!) gets the special one that opens the bottom of the pinata... then candy comes pouring out!

Candy!!

Danni likes to be silly with Papa too!

She gave him kisses at his house!

Lounging with Daddy

Taking a spin in the ball pit car!
Baby Sean turned one!  We've never met him because his Daddy is in the Navy and is stationed in Hawaii.  They visited to celebrate his birthday with Auntie Lynn and her family - we joined in on an amazing party!!  Auntie Lynn made a delicious brunch, and I spent the whole day playing with Ramey and Danni!!  We also got to put in some quality time with Papa!!

The Water Slide is Back!!

Guess who's happy to have the water slide back?!

Hose water is COLD!

Watch out below!!!

Danni can slide by herself this summer!

Wheeee!!

"Go again!!"

Thank goodness for sizzling hot temperatures!  That means that it's waterslide time!!  I 'won' my waterslide last fall when I learned to use the potty!!  I enjoyed it a little bit last year until it got too cold and I have been anxious to get back on it!  FINALLY!  It was better than I remembered!  And now, Danni is big (and coordinated!) enough to enjoy it too!!!  These water babies LOVE their slide!!!  :)
