Electrical Parade!!

Starting our day decked out Disney-style!

I shared my pretzel treats with Danni... she LOVED them!

Danni made LOTS of outside noises!

Mommy, Gracie, and I on Small World...

Danni knows how to point... her doctor says this is very advanced!  :)

Looking for mischief!

Standing in line for the roller coaster in Toon Town!

I loved blowing stuff up!  :)

Explosions are cool!!

It was a little weird to be out after dark...  Did my parents forget about bedtime??

It's a little blurry... but it is obvious that she likes me!

I STILL love the Up&Down....

Danni got her own horsie this time... she loved it too!

She tried to eat the seat belt...

Danni was SO exciterized... she kept shrieking and giggling!!

The Up&Down is my favoritest place to be!
Although I STILL can't quite figure out how it works...

Papa met us to watch the "Dark Parade" ... Danni was happy to see him!

Danni likes her new Minnie Beanie...

Papa, Mommy, Danni and me watching the "Dark Parade"

I loved looking at all of the lights with Papa!

Lights, Papa, and staying up late make me smile!!

I WAS tired by the time the end of the night rolled around... but I'd never tell anyone!  :)

Oh noooo!  Disney's Electrical Parade is moving to Florida on April 6th!  And I haven't seen it yet!!  My parents decided that they would make a special exception for me to miss my 7:00 bedtime to see such a special parade!  Yay!  We headed to Disneyland for a few rides with Gracie and then went over to stake out our places along the parade route.  Papa joined us for the "Dark Parade", because it is one of his all time favorites.  He took Mommy and Uncle Paul to see it when they were little too!!

I LOVED seeing the lights and dancing to the music!  One of Mommy's friends drives the Turtle with a Hat, so we got a special show -- the turtle spun and spun in front of us to my delight!  :)  After the parade, I got to see fireworks for the first time as well (as we walked to the parking lot!)  And, I was on SUCH great behavior, maybe my parents will let me stay up WAY past my bedtime again soon!!!  :)

Easter Pro Pix

I didn't try toooo hard to get away...

If you look closely you can see Mommy forcing me to sit still...  ;)

Danni enjoyed the experience a lot more than I did!!
Mommy in the yellow dress and a super scary Easter Bunny... 35 years ago!
(Danni is so glad that the bonnet is lost!)

Handsome Zashi (Mommy just discovered the X-Large photo size button!)

Beautiful Danni!  (She had never worn shoes before this -- she was a little confused by them!)

Danni in Mommy's Easter Dress...

Awwwww...

Here are the pro's results from our Spring Photo Shoot!  Not tooooo shabby if I do say so myself!  :)

Builderizing!!

All suited up and ready to build!!

Mommy said that the adorable orange aprons made up for all of the repetitive noise involved in this project!

Getting ready for some construction with my friend Natalie...

"Hamming" takes lots of concentration...

So does putting little nails into tiny holes in the wood...

The wagon frame is done!  (And, I REALLY did most of it my myself!)  :)

I hammed it HARD!

Finished product:  a little wagon!!!  Cool!!!

Gracie made a project too!  (I love girls who are good with tools!)

I took my wagon for a test drive in Chick-Fil-A!

Our construction crew!!

This week, we hit Chick-Fil-A for our Tuesday night dinner... and Home Depot happened to be hosting the craft!  At first, my parents thought it would be too advanced for a 2-year-old... but boy did I show them that they were mistaken!  I grabbed the hammer and nails and "hammed"  my little heart out and built a little wooden wagon!  Mommy and the lady from Home Depot helped me a little bit with my aim, and with some simple directions, but for the most part, I built my wagon by myself!  Everyone was impressed.  I loved construction so much that Mommy and Daddy are going to take me to Home Depot for their kids' project days -- the first Saturday of every month!!  Papa Don would be SO proud of me!  :)

Hoppy Easter!!!

Giving the Bunny a high five after our shoot...

I was WAY excited to get an Easter Bunny necklace as the prize inside my egg!

We were a little early for our appointment at the Picture People, so Mommy and Daddy let me get ice cream at Ben & Jerry's ... it just happened to be Free Scoop Day!  Cool!

I don't know if it was brave or stupid of them to let me eat ice cream BEFORE taking pix!  (Luckily, it ended up being a BRAVE decision ... I didn't drop anything on my outfit!)  :)

Danni and I played before taking our pictures ... she's hanging on for dear life!

Danni is wearing Mommy's old Easter Dress!

Danni is getting really good at standing... she prefers to hold a grown up's hand...

Easter is right around the corner, so Mommy made us take baths, combed our hair, dressed us up in new outfits and made us take some spring pictures.  It wasn't tooooo terrible, I guess!  I wasn't terrified of the Easter Bunny, and I cooperated for most of our photo shoot at the Picture People!!  Mommy and Daddy can't believe how grown up we are both looking!!!  :)

More Park Action!!

Checking out the view from the top of the "high tower"

This park has a "slide down pole" ...

I also loved the "early slide"  (Mommy and Daddy call it the CURLY slide...)

They had a little slide for Danni...

She tried to crawl back up once she hit the bottom!

Danni found a tunnel!

"Mommy, watch me jump far!"   I've never seen her run so fast!!

ANOTHER new park opened in our area!  Last weekend was the grand opening of the Vernola Family Park...  it has tons of play equipment and adjacent softball fields (which means there will always be a fresh supply of pretty girls to check out!)  :)  Danni and I tested all of the slides, ladders, bridges, and climb-ups and we approve!!!  I can't wait to go back!
