This was NOT the way I wanted to spend my morning!!!

Mommy and Daddy took Danni to her very first Kiddie Kandids photo shoot to document her 2 month birthday. It was a little crazy. She pooped all over Daddy's shirt, shorts, leg, on his shoes, in between his toes, and all over the floor of the studio. BUT, she didn't get ANY on her dress. We were all impressed. I wouldn't cooperate for the brother/sister shot... and Daddy kept getting in the way of the flash while he was trying to corral me. I think that the next few shoots might just feature Danni all on her own! ;)
(By the way, the KK website now prints PROOF across our faces so my mommy can't use their digital images... these are poor quality because they were scanned... you get the picture... hee hee ... literally!)

I can swim to Mommy all by myself... and sometimes I even remember to kick!! :)

As you probably can tell, I LOVE the water! I have been making great progress in my swim class! If I can learn to kick on command, then Mommy and Daddy won't have to come in with me anymore and I can graduate from Water Babies to Water Wigglers! Woohoo!!! My favorite part of the class is flirting with the teachers! Oh yeah... I also like belly flopping off of the giant ducky and ruining Mommy's hair and make-up in the process! :)

At first I was a little unsure about wearing the life jacket. But, all of the other kids under 48" had to do it too... including the pretty girls.

Danni enjoyed the shade! NEXT summer, she can play with me!!!

Mommy and Daddy discovered the coolest of water parks! It's called Buccaneer Bay and is a part of the Splash! Aquatic Center in the City of La Mirada. Even though it's about a 30 minute drive from our house, it was totally worth going!! They had a big play structure with toddler-sized water slides, climbing ropes, waterfalls, fountains, and sprayers! A giant bucket overhead would dump periodically, soaking everyone inside! I also go to float down the lazy river in a "boat" (it was really an inner tube... but whatever!) ... Mommy and Danni had fun too -- Mommy was especially excited that she could sit in the shallow pool and feed Danni at the same time!!! The day we went, they were having a 2-for-1 special, so I KNOW we get to go back!!! Yay!!

We get to stop in all kinds of strange places to feed Danni... on our way home from Papa Harold's we stopped at a service station where some lady was selling puppies. She let me play with them ... and of course, I was SO sad when we left without one! Mommy says that she doesn't want to clean up after another creature that poops. Hmmm... maybe when I'm potty trained???? Oh yeah... I look like the Joker in these pictures because Daddy got me a lollipop! Yum!!!

Annnnd... my mommy apologizes for the long wait between blog postings. I 'borrowed' the camera cord.... hee hee hee... you have to be on your toes when there's a toddler in the house!!!

She's going to be the sensitive one, I think! :) She's had a little rash on her face that gradually got worse, so Mommy took her to the doc. Danni is extra sensitive to Mommy's hormones which caused her face to be bumpy! (Daddy and I just ignore Mommy's hormones ... or hormonalness... hee hee) She got a prescription ointment and is now back to her glowing self! Yay!! My parents (and I!) hope that is her first and last "sick baby" visit!!!

Danni FINALLY got to meet her only living GREAT grandparent this weekend. We went to visit Papa Harold in Hemet. He took us all out to breakfast and then we played at his house for a little while. I found lots of new places to climb (Papa Harold has a really cool little step stool!) and I had fun getting kisses from his dog Mimi. Danni slept through most of the visit but was awake long enough to meet Papa H!

I am so excited that Danni is getting a little older and can start enjoying the things that I love! This week, I took her to the park and showed her how to play on all of the equipment! She is anxious to start learning to walk so that she can join me in climbing and sliding and swinging! For now, she is happy to relax on the grass with Daddy!

I LOVE to bounce ... so last week my parents took me to a new bounce place in Chino Hills called "Wild Kingdom." It is MUCH bigger than the place that we frequent in Corona ... and all of the bouncers are animal or jungle themed! I had a great time showing Mama Vee how it was done!!

Uncle Paul turned 32 on August 4th! We celebrated his big day with a family dinner at North Woods Inn! Mmmm!! I am just like my mommy, I LOVE their cheesebread. And, the fact that you can throw stuff on the floor and not get in trouble for it is cool too!!! :) After a yummy meal, we went back to Po and Deli's apartment and had some cake and destruction time!! They were great sports and let me splash in their sink and unplug their appliances to my heart's content! What a great birthday celebration!!! :)
