Danni is becoming quite a good sleeper! She has been letting Mommy and Daddy sleep for a siz hour stretch... doctors consider this "sleeping through the night" ... I don't think my parents would agree -- but they are grateful for the sleep! Danni also started smiling this week -- she loves it when I kiss her toes!!! :)

Sweet Sleeper Baby...
CA Adventure with Papa and Ahntee

Happily soaksterized!
Enjoying the ride!
Getting tortilla samples with Daddy and Ahntee...
Papa works for the Ventura County Court System ... the sucky economy means that he gets to take a few furlough days each month. What better way to spend one than at Disney's CA Adventure with ME?! Papa brought Ahntee along for some fun as well!! We had a great day -- I splashed in the water, rode a bunch of rides (including the bumper cars -- I was too short for them last time!) and had a yummy lunch. I was a little mad that the girl mariachis woke me up from my nap by blowing a trumpet right near my stroller... but, that just meant I was awake to check them out! :)
Danni's One Month Old!
Danni had her one month doctor visit on July 20th ... The doctor was very impressed with her growth! She weighs 10 lbs (75% for weight!) and grew 3 1/4 inches to a height of 22 1/4 inches (she is 90% for height!) Mommy, Daddy, and I are so proud!!
John's with the Guys
Cruising in my Jeep...
Swiping my card...
Peeking out of the play structure ...
Gannon and I driving the firetruck together. (I was flirting with Gannon's mom!)
I
My Mommy and Daddy are friends with a few families that have boys my age!! We hung out with a couple of them this past week at John's Incredible Pizza. I go absolutely crazy at that place ... and when Tristan and Gannon are along, the fun is exponential! (For US anyways... I think the grown-ups were more tired at the end of the outing!) :) We had a yummy lunch of pizza, pasta, and ice cream at the buffet and then we went wild in the play area! I loved swiping my Fun Card in all of the machines (for those of you that are Mommy and Daddy's age, the video games and machines no longer take tokens -- they use credits on a "debit" card) ... I also had fun riding the rides! Hopefully, the guys and I behaved well enough to return soon!!! :)
Baba for Danni!
"Zashi's feeding Danni a baba! Mommy pumped it for Danni!"
Mommy has to work a couple of days in August, so Danni needed to get used to drinking a baba... I was lucky enough to help Daddy with the task of feeding Danni her very first meal from a bottle! She didn't complain or cry at all! This made Daddy and I feel a lot better -- we don't want a cranky baby around when Mommy's not here with her meal of choice! :)

Potty Update
I'm becoming more and more interested in peeing on the potty!! I will randomly decide that it's time to practice and will drag out my "special pee pee chair" ... then I demand to be undressed. "Shirt off! Pants off! Diaper off!" ... and then we wait. If I have success, I get a piece of a Twinkie. Whenever Mommy and Daddy pee-pee on the potty, I exclaim, "Mommy gets a Twinkie!!" Stay tuned... my diaper days are coming to an end!!!
Hot Tubbing With Danni!
Danni in the bubbles!
The ONLY girl who gets kisses in the hot tub from me.... for awhile!! :)
Now that she is a month old, I figured it was time for Danni to join us in one of our family rituals... hot tubbing! (Although, during the summer, our hot tub is actually a "cool" tub... we keep it at about 95 degrees ... it's a nice way to beat the heat on a crispy 104 degree summer evening!) Danni liked floating around... she frog kicked and enjoyed the kisses that I gave her! Pretty soon I will teach her how to splash!!
Legoland!
Our new ride!! I kissed Danni's toes all day!!
Splashing in the fountain!
Race car driving...
This scared Mommy a little bit....
Driving the Lego tractor!
I am a Lego fanatic ... so it is only fitting that my parents took me to Legoland while we were on vacation! It was much more kid friendly than Disneyland! I could go on most of the rides and they had tons of hands-on play areas for me to explore. The best part was the water play structure in the Pirate area. It was like a jungle gym with sprinklers, water slides, and sprayers... my dream come true! Daddy and I played on it for 2 hours straight!!! I can't wait for our next trip!!!
