Climberizer!!!
I have gotten quite good at climberizing! I can scale the sinks, the couches, and the shelves in the pantry. My parents took me to the park for a "proper" outlet for my climbing energy. This park is really cool -- it has a "rock wall" for kids to climb. It also has a few different jungle gyms to play on. I had fun -- but I think Mommy was getting worried that I was up so high!!!
Field Trip to the Zoo!

Niiiiiiice petting for the goat dee-dee.

Mommy's 7th and 8th grade classes took a field trip to the LA Zoo last week, so of course, Daddy and I went along to chaperone! I LOVE the zoo. This time, I focused less on the drinking fountains and hand wash stations... I was really into the "wa-wa birdies" (the pelicans and swans) ... my parents think it was just because there was a giant (and touchable!) waterfall in their enclosure. I also got to meet some sheep in the petting zoo. I had a great day and met lots of new friends!

Pool Time!

The record setting heat here in the 951 meant one thing.... time to bust out the kiddie pool!!!! Mommy, Daddy, and I cooled off in the 100 degree temperatures by taking a dip (and tons of splashes) in my little pool. I loved spraying them with the hose, and pouring cups of water on Mommy's belly!!! While it was nice to have a little taste of summer, I would much rather have cool temperatures....
Water Boy!

Love to brush my teefs!

Brushing!!

"Helping" with the dishes in the kitchen...

I have always love water.... but lately it has become even more of an obsession!!! I love to splash in the sinks, the shower, the tub, in the hose, in puddles, in the hot tub.... you get the picture!!! I have figured out how to access most of the sinks in my house -- mostly by dragging furniture over to them and then climbing on it!
Familia!!!

Playing with silly "hats" with my Auntie Elaine...

Trapped in Auntie E's toes!

Reading to Mama Vee...

What a lucky boy I am! This weekend, I got to visit with TONS of family members! My Auntie Elaine was visiting from St. Louis, so she brought Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Robert over to play with me! Mama Vee also joined in on the fun! It feels great to have so many loving admirers! (And I did a terrific job of keeping them all entertained!)

Potty progress....

(by the way.. this was once a bathroom pass for Mommy's classroom
-- they REALLY did not buy me a pink princess toilet seat....)

Now that I'm nearing my 2nd birthday, people love to ask how the potty training is going. The pictures speak for themselves! :)
Easter in the 951

Giving the squirt bottle kisses...

The neighbors now have Easter grass all over their lawns too...

After a fun morning in Mission Viejo, I came home and crashed hard for a late nap. When I woke up, the Easter Bunny had visited! I got TONS of cool stuff in my basket!! My favorite was my very own squirt bottle!!!! I also did an egg hunt in our back yard. Well... kinda. I don't really get the whole hunting thing yet, so Mommy dumped some eggs on the lawn and said "Clean up, clean up!!" ... then I picked up all of the eggs and put them in the basket! :) Pretty sneaky, huh?!
Easter in MV

My family celebrated Easter at my Great Aunt Dur's house in Mission Viejo! All of mommy's cousins were there, along with Mama Vee (it was also her birthday!!). We had a delicious brunch (I ate four sausage patties!!) and the Easter Bunny left me a bag of treats! The highlight of my day was the fountain that Aunt Dur had in her back yard. I splashed in it for most of the day! It was wonderful to hang out with my family on such a beautiful day!

Celebrating at Mama V's!

We had lots to celebrate this weekend! Uncle Po moved in to a new apartment (I got my first outfit SOAKED splashing in his sink!), Daddy had a belated birthday party (I got my second outfit -- and most of the furniture in Mama Vee's living room covered in frosting...), and Easter is around the corner so we had a little egg hunt in Mama Vee's back yard (I did it half-undressed, since I had no more clean clothes left!) What a fun day!! I am a party animal at heart!!!
