I love the weekends! It is so wonderful to have my family together and to do fun things! Daddy even lets me drive his truck!!! This weekend, I also got to practice taking pictures with a digital camera!!!

When the dee dee licks my fingers, it makes me giggle!

.... but OF COURSE she is... I'm feeding her quite well!!! I love the dee-dee that has adopted me as her new playmate. Whenever I go out front and call for her, I can hear her little bell collar jingling in the distance and soon she'll come bouncing into the yard. She is SUCH a nice dee dee... she lets me feed her and dump cat treats on her. And, she doesn't get too mad when I try to pick her up -- even if it's by her neck! (Ouch!) I showed Mama Vee and Uncle P the dee dee this weekend. They love her too! (But Mommy and Daddy STILL won't let her in the house -- they have a strict rule about the ratio of cats to humans remaining equal!!

This weekend was cold and rainy... so we got out of the house and went to the Airplane Museum in Chino... it's only about 15 minute from our house and was full of COOL stuff. I especially loved the ropes that kept you away from the planes, the benches, and the keyholes in the display cases. Daddy really enjoyed the museum, and impressed Mommy and I with all kinds of fact about the restored planes. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon! (And tiring - I took a 2 1/2 hour nap that afternoon!!!)

For Christmas, my Grandpa Larry gave everyone Disneyland passes - so this weekend we all got together to put them to good use!! I absolutely LOVED it! We went on several rides -- believe it or not, I wasn't scared for a second on "Pirates!" My next favorite was the Jungle Cruise (they added some piranhas to the ride that startled Mommy and Daddy!!). I got to meet a new friend, Ramey - she was really pretty and held my hand. I had to put a little distance between us though when she wanted to go to the Princess Faire and have me inaugurated as a prince! (Thankfully, that was closed!) :) I had such a fantastic day -- and impressed Mommy and Daddy with my wonderful behavior -- maybe they'll take me back.... SOON?!!!

We decided to take advantage of the summer-like warm days that we have been having and headed to the zoo!!! My great ahntee Suz came along to share the fun!!! We had a nice time checking out all of the animals -- but my favorite attractions were still the drinking fountains and the playground! I had fun hiding with Suz and then popping out and saying "BOO!!" It was a super fun day -- I just hope it's a little cooler next time!!!
