What fun, I'm ONE! I had the first (of many!) celebrations on my actual birthday, May 25. Mama Vee and Uncle Paul came over and took me to lunch at Carino's. (I LOVE their bread!!) Mama Vee baked and decorated a cake for me... I was a nice boy and didn't do too much damage to it! And, I actually enjoyed a few bites!!! Here are some pictures of my first celebration! Stay tuned... my party is next weekend! I can hardly wait!

While my daddy was in New York, Mommy and I enjoyed lots of playdates! One of them was with my friend Hailey. We got to go swimming together. I was happy that she wore a one piece suit. I like my women modest! :)

Mommy loves to take picture of me while I'm sleeping. These days, she says it's the only way she can get me to be still for a photoshoot! :) I think I'm growing - I've been taking 2 hour naps and have been eating a ton. Watch out Daddy, pretty soon I'm gonna pass you up!

Since my daddy is away in NYC, Mommy decided to take me to see HER daddy, Grandpa Larry, in Ventura. Uncle Paul came along too. While we were there, GPL took me for a swim in his pool. It was the perfect way to beat the heat!! I had a great time destroying GPL's house! He thought he babyproofed, but I showed him! ;) It was a fantastic weekend! I can't wait to go back!

BIG Teefs!

I've been a little bit whiney lately ... and, I've got a great, big, pearly white excuse for it! I grew a molar! It's been working its way through my gums for a couple of weeks and FINALLY peeked through this week... If you look on the bottom right side of my open-mouthed smile, you'll spot the evidence!!! That makes NINE teeth total!!! :)

Now that I can walk, my parents have been taking me to the playground ... we all love it! I get nice and exhausted and my parents get to talk to grown ups who have kids that are about my age. We are so lucky to have a bunch of playgrounds within walking distance of our house!!

Happy Mommy's Day!!

Mommy said that I did a wonderful job of spoiling her on her very first official Mother's Day! I started the day by waking up late and letting her sleep in!!! Then, Daddy and I took her to breakfast -- pancakes and Diet Coke -- her favorite!!! Later in the day, we took Mommy and Mama Vee to lunch at BJ's (it's Mommy's favorite place!) ... I was so good for the whole meal!!! After that, I entertained Daddy so that Mommy could go get a pedicure. Then we all snuggled together. It was a pretty perfect day!!!

Another haircut!

My parents know that when people start complimenting me with, "SHE is sooo beautiful!" it's time for a haircut! This time I got to go with Daddy to a real manly hair cutting place called Sport Clips. They have TVs all around playing all the games, and the girls that cut hair are dressed like sexy referees... All the guys that were getting their haircuts were jealous of me because all the girls were flirting with me and not them!! :) They gave me a little basketball to distract me. I STILL hate the clippers... but I was pretty brave for haircut number 2.

BALLS!!!

How can you keep your parents busy? Let them fill up a huge tub with 200 brightly covered balls, dump it over and watch them scramble. Then repeat! :) I love scattering these all over the house, throwing them at the cats, and hiding them in shoes and cupboards!!! This early birthday present is a hit!!

What time is it?

Time for daddy to get a new clock!!!

I've gotten taller, so now I can reach things on nightstands, tables, and in top drawers! Woohoo!!! And, check out my outfit! This was sewn BY HAND by my cousin Deep and Aakash's grandma Shyamoli who lives in India. All of the detail is just incredible - so much nicer than the store-bought stuff that I usually wear because it has Shyamoli's love mixed in!!!

I look forward to our little family's dip in the spa each evening!! I'm becoming so good at kicking and splashing... and drinking spa water...

Backyardigan!

I love playing outside in the backyard... when my parents turn my loose, I zero in on all the dangerous stuff first... the barbecue, the spa chemicals, the hose... I'm not sure who gets a better workout among the three of us! :)

Cabinet Invader!

I've recently discovered how much fun cabinets can be! Not only are they filled with REALLY cool stuff that I can scatter all over the floor... I can also manage to crawl inside them! (After I've unloaded the cabinet, of course!) I love to invade every cabinet I can find... and point out the little things that my parents might have missed while baby proofing! :)

Bottoms Up!!

It is a rare occasion that my parents actually have to wake me up in the morning!!! This morning I was TRYING to sleep in ... I'm usually up between 6 and 7 -- but not today!!! Mommy came in at 7:45 to roust me for breakfast before she went to work... Here's me, booty-up, enjoying my last Zzzz's.... My parents are hoping that these late wake-ups last until the weekend when they can join in the extra sleep too... Don't hold your breath, suckas!!!

My first Road Rash...

This weekend my parents let me walk alongside the stroller at the OC Marketplace... I got a little excited, went a little too fast and BOOM! Face planted... OUCH! I got my first minor scrapes... on my nose and forehead... Then I came home and face planted into my changing table and got a fat lip. I think Mommy was more upset about my injuries than I was!!! I think that they make me look tough and manly...

I am getting better and better at walking which means I am ALL OVER the place... often too quick for Mommy to snap my picture!!
