Christmas Love
Zack-tor

I LOVE Christmas! Here's one of my favorite gifts from my grandpa Larry... My very own John Deere tractor! (With matching boots and hat!) My parents just LOVE it because it sings "Old McDonald" and makes tractor noises when I hit the horn. I can't wait until my legs grow long enough to touch the ground while I'm "driving!"

All I want for Christmas....

Looks like I got my wish! My two front teefs have been creeping in for the last few days... My parents are relieved that this round of teething hasn't been nearly as brutal as Round I with the bottom teefs. Chicks dig me even more now, by new pearly whites make me look older... (And, no, haven't tried them out on Mom yet!)
Mommy's Laundry Helper
Daddy's Remote Eater

My daddy is so proud. I'm only 6 months old and already have developed a fondness for electronic devices. The remote is one of my favorite toys. And, my parents don't realize that babies come equipped with a keen sense of smell... although they try to assuage me by handing me a "decoy" remote from an old TV, I prefer the REAL remote... you know, the one that baby slobber will likely short out and ruin. SCORE!

Shots BITE!!

I had my six-month well baby check-up today... I'm up to 19 lbs. 12 oz. (no wonder my parents are rocking some serious biceps!) And, I've sprouted up to 27 inches!!! The bad part was that I got FIVE shots... it was supposed to only be 4, but my daddy had to make a special request for a flu shot... I will be certain to pay him back -- dirty diapers on his watch ONLY from now on!! Here's me after my doctor's office encounter... think the nurse got a little band-aid happy???
Noshing on the Solids!

YUM! Eating solids is FUN! My parents started me on rice cereal about a month ago and have been gradually introducing new flavors to my palate... So far I've sampled butternut squash, sweet potatoes, pears, green beans, and bananas. ALL of them homemade!! (My mom is getting in touch with her inner hippie!) Here's a couple of pics of me enjoying my solids -- the prerequisite messy baby shot (seriously, though, don't I look fantastic in green beans??)... and a shot of me operating my own spoon...
